You may also like a few of the cheap options in old Chinatown as well (Sun Fresh Bakery, The Boss, New Town Bakery etc). Also Onigiri-ya is opening Sept 3 and looks to be delicious and cheap.
Need lots of cash to live in Vancouver these days. Unless you own property, it has the most expensive rent in the world. Unlivable if you rent, forget owning a home.
I wouldn't pay money for an egg sandwich and instant ramen. Why? You can just make it at home. They're so bad for you- they're just meant as a filler food when you have nothing else to eat or need some variety or soup.
I gotta disagree with the kimbob and instant ramen being cheap. Not only you can make them at home for 5 bucks, if you have to buy, they're sold for a fraction at Hmart. Why go to Robson for instant noodles anyways unless you're a tourist.
$8 for that egg sando is not cheap...😮
Any brunch suggestion in Vancouver ?
Cha kee is my favourite
Have you tried the Xiao Long Bao from Shanghai Dimsum House in Crystal Mall? Combo A with the soup on the side is really good!

Thanks for the tips!
New Town is my favorite
This is awesome! Thanks for sharing :)
Thanks for watching!
❤❤❤🍜
Thank you
Looks like I have new places to try out! Thanks 👍🏻
Tons of shrimp is 3 to 4 pcs. Good to know.
nom nom nom!
Cha Kee closes at 4pm, so basically only opens from breakfast to afternoon tea time.
Just moved to Burnaby and have been looking for cheap eats . Specifically looking for an excuse to visit the Crystal Mall as well. Thanks Kirby!
Wow 😮
Looks good for the Nom Nom Seoul. How many serving is that roll? Looks a lot..
honestly one person eating one kimbap is enough for lunch! And for someone with a small appetite, I think half of that kimbap is enough haha
I was just at Cha Kee today. Their eggs are the best.
I got a piece of eggshell from Cha Kee once. But their milk tea is so good I’m not even mad.
We went there last week, i wish i watch your video before we go there, but anyways next time, tnx for sharing 😊
Check out Richmond Public Market.
I used to be able to fill my stomach at crystal mall for well under $10.
I know so sad... gone are those days
I wish I live in Vancouver

Sadly Vancouver and cheap doesn't really go together anymore 😅 $28 for kimbap and ramyun is decent but still pricey given tax and tips
You know the real cheap eat super cheap eat at Paul’s Kitchen in Richmond still under $10 can have a meal for breakfast.

Cash only means they charge you the tax and keep it for themselves. Oldest trick in the book. Source used to work at CRA
👍👍💯💯🎉🎉
Awwwww... how come no mention of prices for each item??
In what world is a $12 egg cheap?

Agreed holy shit $17 for instant noodles with a few pieces of shrimp… wtf is that goddamn😂
15 dollars for instant ramyun is a scam. calling that "cheap eats" is ridiculous
For real that is absurd. Literally cooking fucking instant noodles that costs $2… what is wrong with ppl these days 😂
the first 4 looks very carb heavy and salty so I'll pass.. the last one may be worth visiting

That guy standing there was trying to get his 15 minutes of fame while you were filming 😂😂 it was so irritating 😠
Dude is just a NPC. Can be easily ignored. 😂
timestamp would be nice
I haven't been to that food court, perhaps there's a shop behind the camera? Probably overreacting here, OP
This is not all 'Vancouver', should be renamed GVA...
You lost me at cha kee. I wouldn't eat at that food court.
Oh no..... anyway.
