They have their moms, grandmas, sisters, cousins, friends and influencers that have spoken out about women empowerment and body positivity
LM wanted this song to be the 1st single for their LM5 album but the studio didn't agree and made them put "Woman Like Me" as their 1st single probably because Ed Sheeran wrote the song (he is an LM fan btw). So they tweaked the song and brought Nicki Minaj on to feature and the rest is history. This is part of the reason LM dropped Simon Cowe. But strip is a unique and amazing presentation for a "Girl" group that everyone thinks can only sing pop. You should react to the whole LM5 album it is their best but also most underrated creation. Also you should check out their live LM5 tour performance especially the last show in the London O2 stadium it is jaw dropping from beginning to end, the best live show you will ever see.
I’m so happy you girlies reviewed this video. It’s one of my favs and I can’t think of any woman who this doesn’t lift up. These girls are so sweet and beautiful , it was heartbreaking reading everything people have called them. You can heal from an injury, but words stay with you forever. Healing from words is almost impossible. If anything can heal, it’s music and this video in particular. These girls are literally queens! Loved your reaction video! Take care and be well!

The girls went through a lot as they came up. Jessy suffers from depression because she was literally call the fat one. And Leanne had to deal with being the only Black girl in the group. Jade is mixed with Arabic and was bullied for it growing up. Perie Suffered from a eating disorder. I’m so proud of them
