Much happier in this video Karl. Unfortunately some people don’t have much of a life and jealousy is rife. Quite right to block them if needs be. Both dogs are loved unconditionally that is obvious. Keep going. Especially with the mischievous young Winston and Big Brother Pablo obviously.

So proud of you and Chelsea for being the most amazing pug parents, wanted to spread so much love and positivity on your last video but you understandably disabled the comments. All I’m going to say is some people... I wonder if they see through the same eyes as I do? Bcus all I see are the most amazing pug parents working their butts off to give the best they can to their pugs, both equally, but more concentrated on their brand new PUPPY which is completely understandable and what you guys should completely be doing (and doing this so well whilst basically dying of illness). We were debating if we needed the bigger size if it was rubbing like it was but they're made for less stocky dogs which the IDC compensates for, that was our only complain of our first harness and now we have none :D

I love Pablo and his little brother Winston. All their videos are great. The boys have wonderful humans in their lives to truly love them. I have loved pugs since I can remember. My Mom and Dad and I had cats and did not have a dog till I was 11. My cousins (my second parents) had pugs since before I have memories so their dogs were like my first dogs. When I was in my 20's I went to school to become a Veterinary Technologist so I know the uniquities of pugs. Thank you for these videos because I am going through a hard time in life right now and these videos are bringing me so much joy. Thank you Pablo & Winston for sharing and give you humans some kisses in appreciation from me.

I bought both my bulldog and my pug a Julius K-9 (IDC Harness) after seeing when you first bought one for Pablo. Finding a harness for a bulldog is tough and this harness has really been the best for her. So of course we had to get one for our Prince Pugsley! This is a great review video. I ordered this harness, the new one, after I've seen your video, 2 years ago. I re-ordered it this year because my doggy got a bit fat plus I wanted a pink one and now we are both happy with it.

Great review! We just got this for our Lulu and I am still trying to figure out if I have put it on correctly or not. But I agree, it is so good and so easy to use and she is walking a lot better with us on the lead ( she is only 7 months old) but being a Lurcher she is like a cat and I am surprised that she still has it on after her jumps and funny turns 😊💕

Wished we would have had one of those for our pug - she was always straining her leash on walks. You are a natural born salesman. Whoever they are and whatever they are saying to you is absolutely horrid Karl, I actually can't believe you had to make a video addressing that when you clearly, VERY clearly love Pablo and when you are sick, the only thing you want to do is cuddle up and sleep (with Pablo and Winston but not when hes all bitey haha) I'm so happy you both are getting better each day and you both do your best with Pablo.
Winston has only a few (small) puppy months left and of course you would want to film them, not only for the fans but yourselves, you can look back later and think 'I'm so happy I got that on film'
Like children, and even us we get older and older - with pets they can't really film themselves so I am happy you both are making the most of it.
It's YOUR channel, and don't forget that new but small name change '& co' so of course people who watch this (besides the lovers and fans) SHOULD know it's a channel not ONLY ABOUT PABLO but also his LITTLE BROTHER that everyone has been looking forward to meeting!

I like the look of the test harness any idea when that will be available to buy? Great review, buying a harness for a pug is difficult so it's great to see someone trying products out. I'd do more pug product promotions it helps pug parents. I've spent £££ on harnesses and leads. Try cleaning products for eyes and ears. The amount of people that ask me what I use for ears. Also could you do video's about keeping your pug clean. Make new owners aware these dogs need more care. Give people tips about care and about how great sudo cream is for red sore spots or wrinkle sores. Many pugs get abandoned by owners who don't relies how much care pugs need from their diet and their hygiene issue's plus the need for company. You two do amazing job and people will listen to you two. Love your video's. 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏

I have Julius K9 IDC harness .... But the harness across her shoulders slides to the left when walking & though strap behind front legs isn't rubbing her leg but doesn't feel secure. Suggestions what we're doing wrong please. Tks!
My puppy has slipped out of her K9 harness twice now. It was on relatively tightly just two fingers of room. She went into the road and 4 people stopped to help catch her. Apparently there is a Y section that makes them more secure. Shame the Company did not mention that dogs can back out of the harness if they wriggle, roll a bit.

If my dogs wore a harness you would have me sold on them they are really durable!
I like all the reflective parts of the new harness. Our pug is black so that would be a good safety feature for him since we typically walk at night.
I got a light up USB rechargeable collar for my boy because whenever I let him out at night in the yard he'd disappear, lol. I got it off ebay it was the same as this one www.ebay.ca/itm/USB-Rechargeable-Silicone-Pet-Collar-LED-Light-Band-Waterproof-Dog-Safety-Belt/183141130369?hash=item2aa40fe081:m:ml_kQL1_YElmKA0ToFFpfyA:rk:1:pf:0 Don't be fooled by some fabric ones that say rechargeable though I got one an it used button batteries, make sure it has a usb port.
There is a Labrador that lives near us that always wears a light up collar, looks like there is a UFO is flying around the park 😂 You'll never lose them with one of them on, they're great!
@@ThatPugPablo Yep It looked the same when Charlie was out with it on. A UFO hovering about 5 inches off the ground, lol 😂 Paisley wears it now but I have to double it up so it doesn't quite look the same.
This was a really great review thanks! I'm looking for a new harness for my mini schnauzer but i really want it to be on her chest, not throat as most seem to be. my only question tho: Does this harness trap a lot of heat under it? Can it be worn wet with no worries? I'm in australia and walk my girls in the heat sometimes (unavoidable lol). So we need a harness that is cool.

I thought it was very honest of you to admit you didn’t like Winston at first. Well..... probably more you thought you had made a mistake in getting him than disliking him but I’m glad to see things are getting better. Also you were not feeling good so that must have been hard with a very lively puppy. They are obviously very different characters too so don’t pay too much attention to the negative remarks. My daughter has the Julius K9 harness for her spaniel and it’s great, so easy to put on and they are used for many service dogs so worth the money.
Hi Karl and Pablo! At what age do you get a harness for a pug? As they grow, you’ll need different sizes so how many will you end up buying before they are full grown?
You should be able to make due with 2 if you get good quality ones. I ended up with 3 cuz the second one I bought was too thin and it broke. You should only need a smaller one for puppy, I'd suggest at least 1/2 inch thick and an adult one that's adjustable. That should do you unless you let them chew on it. Pugs are very strong and tank like so you'll need a good durable harness.
We're aiming to only buy 2 before he gets his proper adult harness, an initial puppy harness and then a mid range one for while he's growing to full size. We got Winston his first harness when he could first start going for walks. As J Cee said they need to be durable and make sure they can't slip out of them! We ended up with about 5 for Pablo growing up as he kept slipping out of his. Avoid single neck piece harnesses (the ones you pull their head through to put on) if their head can go in their head can come out.
Is this a new thing in the UK, wasn't available to order before? I'm a bit surprised as the IDC has been around for a good while in Hungary.
Only the regular powerharness was known here?
They may have been available online, but the UK has basically only 1 Major pet store and they only stock the original harness, it's not common knowledge they do anything different :)
Everytime the jingle in the beginning starts my wife looks over at me... now ive been waiting 8 weeks and tomorrow im getting my first dog and hes a pug i names him HAMM like the pig from toy story and now my wife dances when she hears the music all excited haha 😂

when walking your dog does this harness pull on any part of the neck because my mini jack Russel has chronic asthma and she can not have anything pulling on her neck as it can set of her asthma
It doesn't on Pablo but a mini jack Russel will be a different shape to a pug so i can't say if it would or wouldn't. If you can find a store that stocks them to try them on that would be best :)

I'd love one of those harnesses but my 34kg Labrador pulls like a steam train and he'd definatley pull me over if I had a harness without a d ring on the chest. I currently have the halti harness which is a no pull harness and he does good on it, except that its not very durable :(
You can actually buy D ring adapters for these harnesses but only in the bigger sizes, Pablo's is just too small for it to fit. But a Labrador size harness it would definitely fit :) Normally it's either comfort or durability, Julius strikes a really nice middle ground I think :) .. I took milo too pets at home none fit maybe they just didn’t have his size and yay u seem yourself again good on u but don’t worry bout others u keep doing what u do best and be happy 😃 peace out ✌️ xxx
The first one we tried on Pablo fit him perfectly! 😅 "Yep that'll do". They do all different sizes so maybe just unlucky they never had your size in ☹️✌🏻

Is there any way of knowing if a pugs Brachycephalic snout will affect them when picking them as puppies? I really want a pug but I'm afraid of their health issues
Hello from Germany! I'm sorry,there is no way to find it out. You can buy a puppy and it's all okay ,but it last up to 4 Years you can find out he has a Brachycephalic Syndrom. My pug Lucky has his first synthom with 1,5 Years. Now he is 2 Years and 8 month and he is going to have a operation. It's so sad. My second pug , "Fräulein Henriette", are 1 year and 10 month , she have a little problem with her breathing,but it's mutch better than Lucky. In their first month's they have no problems at all. So you need luck when you buy a pug puppy , and a good breeder with many pug's without brachycephalic Syndrom . Then you have a mutch better chance that your pug is healthy!!

What Vanessa said really, You can't directly tell as it's something that develops over time, but you can definitely minimise the chance of this happening. Picking a good breeder is essential as if they're breeding only the healthiest of pugs then your chances will be exceptionally low, if they're showing signs of heavy breathing I would be a bit cautious as to why, a healthy pug should not be making any loud breathing noises. There is always going to be a risk, but you can certainly lower your chances :)
