The reason why Patrick got so much criticism was because he basically acted like he didn't even know who Milos was publicly, but in private he was thanking him for his help. I think Mike needs to watch the original video

To be fair it seemed like Dennis was upset after their first podcast that Milo’s didn’t get more angry at Patrick for not acknowledging Milos so then he arranged a round two and had Milo’s all riled up to go at Patrick 😂

    About the milos Patrick thing
It’s not milos who started it
He actually in first place let it slide

I think Denis forced it for the drama to put some clicks on his pod as he tends to do it often with different people. It’s just sad that people fall for it this hard and bash someone over nothing really. And Milos acted very childish and emotional over nothing really in my opinion.

On the other hand why Patrick obviously lied in the first Podcast?
He cant remember & Milos must mistake him with someone?!
On the other hand he still, after almost 30 years knows the exact protocol.Maybe bc. he used till today& won't admit it..
If he would have said,ya i remember it would have been No theme anymore. Makes No sense IMO.

Originally, Milos let the difference in opinion slide when Patrick first went on three weeks ago. Then, Dennis James encouraged him to speak up and defend his position during the following show and that’s what really lit the drama.
How did bodybuilders work with coaches in the past? They didn’t have the tech we have now so it’s not like Patrick could have easily sent Milos twice a day. I feel like coaching back then was very different from coaching today.

Exactly, but mike/Iian just jumped on Milos. Multiple people confirmed the long fax from Milos details his anabolic, insulin, diuretic protocols along with its appropriate diet layout. Patrick tried to downplay everything and at the end said I never used any of the information that Milos passed. Yet he's thanked him multiple times for what?
Why does Patrick ask for information he'll never use and then go on to thank him for that information that was never useful to him. Either Patrick is straight up lying or there's something he's holding back. He's the one that looks suspicious by making contradictory points and not being truly transparent.
Funny how Mike shit on Milos without knowing the whole story......just like how he said the comments are divisive and pick sides without knowing the whole story yet he did the exact same thing.

Mike is missing the personal aspect with Milos and Patrick, he probably felt emotionally betrayed by a friend, not hung up on props he should be given, a friend is lying about a favour he felt, which sucks and would hurt anyone not autistic.

    • @TriStarArmory
      @TriStarArmory 9 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

A favor isn’t coaching. Patrick stated he didn’t even use the advice. I’m with Mike, Milos along with Dennis poking the fire, feels like he needs to be center of attention. Just like the Samson thing, he sure didn’t mind getting all the praise when Samson was third in the world. He was on every podcast shouting at the top of the mountain about Samson having the ability to win. Then when they split it was all the sudden “ he didn’t follow the plan and wasn’t doing cardio and won’t eat fish”. Well if Milos knew all that then technically you aren’t coaching him either. 😅

I think what Mike is saying is that why does it matter that much? So much so that y’all had a podcast about it and argued like children? It was 20yrs ago. Milos has gotten plenty of credit and is on every podcast talking about his passion of the sport, which he no doubt has in spades. They obviously disagree on the degree on how much help was provided or received. So that’s one disagreement that was 20yrs ago. Let’s just look at it like a scoreboard. Milos has 200 points was it worth the podcast and all the negative comments for his score to be 201? I’m not saying who is right or wrong either. Just stating how I see it and whom I agree with. That’s all….

First time I've disagreed with Mike, definitely wasn't Milos pushing the subject. Doesn't it seem very fearful and odd that Patrick choose to split hairs and battle on this vs just giving credit and moving on. At the end of the day Milos shared his protocol, and helped Patrick. It would be interesting if Patrick is running some of those insulin protocols today, if so, he should be grateful. Love the podcast guys, keep it up!

@@FouadAbiadI think only thing he did wrong was that on the first podcast if you see it he says Milos never helped him at all. I agree on the second podcast that Dennis pulled them together on they’re both right and it’s a definition of coaching difference. That being said I’m sure if you’re casually mentioning coaching someone from your past and he was like “you never helped me at all what are you talking about” it’s kinda frustrating is all on a personal level. Referring to the question on good people vs bad people. Having gone through Criminal Justice, in psychology class, we had the same debate over this subject. Upon further studying in this area, the conclusions reached were some people learned conditioned responses, and others are a products of their environment. However, there are others who are born with a chemical imbalance in their brain as well. So, there are a lot of determining factors regarding people individually. It was a very interesting study.
Aside from that, thanks for another amazing podcast! I always look forward to them 💯

Hey 👋🏽 guys! In response to Fouads question regarding female competitors “peak age range”. It seems like for the more muscular divisions it’s very similar to the males. Andrea Shaw: 40+, Cydney Gillian: 30+, Jessica Reyes Padilla (#2 in figure): 42(?), Fran Mattos: 38!

Fouad, as a fan of both milos and patrick... On the first podcast, the topic of Milos and Patrick linking up through a mutual friend came up organically. Milos tried to talk about the one show he coached Patrick for including the peak weak protocols. While Milos was simply bringing something up for nostalgia sake, Patrick got instantly defensive repeatedly saying he must have mistaken him with someone else. Milos didnt even press the issue further. Dennis later on was the one asked Milos why he didn't clarify the situation further. The thing is, Even if Patrick had a different definition for what coaching is... he sort of exposed himself when he said on the next podcast that Milos indeed did give him a bunch of information but he never used it. On the first podcast Patrick didnt say what he did on the second.. he made repeated efforts to make it look like Milos was confused with someone else. Thats why people are all over him and rightfully so, especially when Milos was being so respectful. His second appearance on the podcast was definitely damage control. Otherwise he had no reason to come back on. Patricks whole approach seemed to stem from the insecurity that people would discredit his achievements as a coach because he got some help from Milos 20 years ago? Fans arent stupid. Saw right through it thats all

I think fans are making assumptions about a person and a situation they have no real knowledge of.
That was ultimately my point. If you don’t know, why assume one guy is a horrible person and a liar.

I think with regards to your show date, the position you hold within the industry and how you (the team) continue to hold yourself to a certain standard the April date makes perfect sense for the direction your whole brand is going. As Paul said, build it and they will come 🤝🏼

Its not that it was Trivial of Milos to be hung up on it. He even let it go intially until Dennis dug deeper into it. He brought it up as a fond memory in his perspective, not to boast. And it was more so that it the first interaction of Patrick made it appear like Milos was making stuff up or losing his mind to old age lol. I agree patrick really just interpreted his advisement wasnt concrete coaching

The show looked great! The fact that these athletes didn’t step up for a spot to be qualified to the Olympia is ridiculous. Next year it’s gonna be a show to watch! Great setup and amazing potential. I completely agree with Mike. Let this show standalone.

To be clear everyone should watch the full podcast of Milo’s. Milos NEVER asked anyone to advertise him. He simply brought up him working with Patrick conversationally and then the difference in perspective became apparent

Let people decide what classes they want to see, it would be cool to have a survey or something like that next year for the people that are actually buying the tickets, to know what they want to see, and make the come back.

I'm a bit torn, but I think Detroit Pro should definitely be in it's own lane for sure. I was thinking mabe add Women's Open & Wellness as well. But it's definitely going to be a special show specifically for the Open guys even if you add a category or two.
