finished this game last year and i have to say - this is what i've always wanted in a star fox game
I love the thought of Fox McCloud and his friends teaming up with humans.
He and his second in command already did so once… The Subspace Emissary.

Ugh, I don't know if I want to do another toys-to-life game. I did that with Skylanders and it was sooo expensive. :( I can get the starter kit which has Fox in it but I don't want to spend $300 on a game I'm going to play once. With Skylanders, the other toys were optional. You could beat the whole game with the starter one. I don't know if that's the case with Starlink.

I don't think there'll be additional characters, but, there'll be a quest line where you'll fight Star Wolf, so they'll be in the game

dnlowithstripes You can play as Fox throughout the entire game. He is fully voiced over for the entire game and has plenty of his own story content. So by all means... This is a Star Fox game. And it looks like a damn good one too

Seeing as you can play as Fox (or the other 3 Star Fox members if you bought the DLC) through the whole game, and he directly interacts with all the other characters, it might as well be.

I LOVE that Ubisoft and Nintendo teamed up once again bringing in exclusive Star Fox themed content to the Switch version of Starlink: Battle for Atlas.
1:02 Easter egg alert: I spy Fox's arwing do the actual "BARREL ROLL" maneuver seen in Star Fox Assault (it literally happened in that game unlike the others), rather than the other type of "BARREL ROLL" in Star Fox 64 and other Star Fox games - albeit actually an "Aileron Roll".
Fun fact: Actual sound clip from Starfox (SNES), Fox said “All ships reporting in”

It is a dumb, SJW-filled game that is pretty much just far worse Destiny. I hope Nintendo has some better plans on what to do with Star Fox because this is just a disappointment.
