Only way to tackle cheating in computer games is to make it a legal crime in your country. If someone faces hard time behind bars just like any other crime a vast majority are discouraged. Most crime is about money and there's no money in cheating on computer games. It would wipe out the cheating community in each nation. If China would do as much and go after cheat creators we would have a massively different playing field in 2024
In my experience, the only places in online gaming that have any manner of insulation from cheaters are private community servers. Even then, they come with their own basket of problems.
From the sound of these patch notes it seems that BSG tries to move more towards server side calculation which proably wouldn't do anything against wallhacks but might make it much more difficult to modify stuff like walkspeed and stuff because the server only moves you with it's programmed speed, which in turn would be funny because hackers would rubberband all over the place but other players only see them move normally.

BSG is a money-hungry entity and I strongly believe that they are staying afloat because of cheaters buying more accounts. I would bet that BSG is tracking credit card numbers and I.P.s associated with banned accounts, but like money too much to recognize that it’s killing their game by not banning them.

Play Arena Breakout. Tencents anti chest is damn near impossible to last longer then 2 days and personally have never ran into one yet and I already have 60 hours.
Organized crime and even certain governments support hackers as there's a ton of money to be made from it. Not to mention the data to be siphoned (considering cheat software has malicious code in it).

That not how DMA works. You have to first buy a DMA Card then get ur hands on a DMA cheat which is the same or even higher price/week than a normal one.
Nice for acknowledging that this cheating pandemic isn't just a Tarkov issue. Cheats pop up for any new released game within hours or days. If the game has people playing it then there's cheats available for it. Lots of these cheat websites branch out into other video games over time. I know a CS cheat that used to only be for CS and now it has cheats for 20+ other games. If you quit one game because of cheating, then there's cheaters in whatever game you go to.

I try help BSG when ever I can. I repost everything I think it not right. but I still play 1500 to 2000 raids a wipe, I just take getting cheated on the chin and move to the next raid.
No they have to update on wipe also dude... New stuff gets added to the game and new code gets added to the game and every cheat has to wait for an update and also update on a wipe.
I've played alot of other games where I didn't run into cheaters. But they weren't popular games or they were games where setting up a server was a bit difficult.

i knew a guy who cheated in CSgo (back in 2016). his claim was "bro, i only cheat cuz i dont wanna waste my time by loosing the game" he was letting me try out CSgo (with cheats activated without telling me). i felt afterwards like the biggest PoS on the planet... he didnt even realize how i would loose all joy because of the cheats
Why people cheat? Because they can and because it potentialy makes them money (RMT/streaming). And considering the challenging nature of tarkov with all of the random elements and BS the game throws at you, combined with high stake gameplay and multiplayer aspect. Go look at Toast's "Lighthouse Challenge" video off his channel. First moments in game @1:00:33 he aims at a rock, and says, "Hello". He then runs past that point, up the terrain, which obviously he could no see through, and over 100 yadrs and 30 seconds before we see the target player for the first time. Take 6-7 minutes and check, please.
It is, it violates ToS and if they go to the trouble of suing in court can take millions. Activision recently just won a case against a cheat producer. It’s no different than trying to damage a manufacturer’s products for pay.

It is, it violates ToS and if they go to the trouble of suing in court can take millions. Activision recently just won a case against a cheat producer. It’s no different than trying to damage a manufacturer’s products for pay.
