OMG!!!! Finally!!!! This is exactly what I was looking for. Not the stupid blank-page-view or the special-blanks-deleted method that requires 5-6 steps just to SIMPLY delete unused rows and columns.

how can we shift whole column filled with entries from one location to another location within the same worksheet?
for example if we want to move whole column of B adjacent to column J or H ?

Hey there, so Excel will not sort by hidden rows. Let me know if this helps =)
Can you do it on the android mobile app?
Great question. Looking into it, it doesn't seem like completing these steps in the mobile app would be easy or intuitive. I think it is something Microsoft is looking into for the future. I will keep looking though and if anyone has suggestions let me know.

Hey there, I have tested and they stay hidden for me. Do you maybe have a setting enabled to show them or perhaps an older version of Excel?
