I feel your pain brother. I recently discovered this band and I was very sad when I found out that the band had ended. Tithemi is now my favorite song. Hopefully, Tommy's new band, Holy Name, will write great songs like this one.

But once a day, I always dedicate 4 minutes to just jamming out to this song and receive the Spirit thru it. I love Pantera, Lam of God, Tool, but this one song keeps me grounded.

I try not to read lies so I'm not quite sure what you mean - praise God either way - but surely you must understand the difference between the Creator, the Life, the Truth on one side, and the lying murderous creation on the other hand. The difference is literally infinite. Imagine if it wasn't Love that eventually ruled over everything. There's a place for the rebels, but you don't want to be one.

Thumb up, its a good song! I mean look at it this way, you don't thumb down a brutal Dying Fetus song because of the lyrical content, you just roll with it and appreciate the music for what it is I guess. Im always skeptic of Cristian rock though.... after that one episode of south park where Cartman starts a C-rock band lol!

Also, for people bitching about the lack of creativity, this is hardcore. This isnt metal. Hardcore is more lyrically and emotionally based rather than creative in the instrumetal department.
I woulnd't mind a band being christian or writing lyrics about religions and that stuff. Totally cool with it. But they took this song too far in my opinion, looks like one of those Gospel Church prayers with some guitars in the background. They are good as a band, but I don't totally dig some of their songs and their image. They still have some dope songs, like Sleep with One eye open :)
I think bands should be free to sing about whatever they want. Incidentally, these Christian lyrics remind me of a certain band that also sang about God and they wear crosses to this day. The band's name is Black something... ;)
