Ever since I first saw Lucario when I was a kid, it's been part of my life as a Pokémon fan. I've picked Lucario up in every game it's a part of for years now, so I don't know why I'd change that. As for this run, it was really nice to see Lucario put in a lot of work
In my opinion @alphaoutlaw lucario is the best fighting type Pokémon ever for instance the move aura sphere which as I am sure you already know is such a good Pokémon move especially ion lucario it never misses and it can also be so over powered I should know because whenever possible I use lucario and I also always use the move aura sphere and it can deal so much damage on Pokémon that aura sphere can effect
Empoleon(Piplup by default) is actually best Sinnoh starter. It only has 3 weaknesses and NO quad weakness. Empoleon is weak to electric, fighting and ground. Torterra (Turtwig with NO weakness changes by evolution) is weak to bug, fire, flying and quad weak to ice. Infernape(Chimchar after evolving once into monferno) is weak to flying, ground and psychic and has poor defences unlike the other two. Piplup and Prinplup are weak to grass but learn peck and/or drill peck via level up so can naturally counter this weakness. As a starter (no breeding) Chimchar needs TM usage to learn a fighting type move early to counter it's rock type weakness and rock tomb is taught to it by TM later to counter it's evolution gained flying weakness. Turtwig relies on defense boosts from moves like withdraw or iron defense until it can learn a rock type move(mostly via TM) to counter it's bug and flying type weaknesses. So Turtwig is actually the worst Sinnoh starter as it has 4 weaknesses and keeps them throught it's evolution line with one becoming eventually becoming a quad weakness, whereas the other 2 either drop 1 weakness entirely or change weaknesses as they grow.(Empoleon drops the grass weakness Piplup and Prinplup had and Infernape exchanges rock weakness for psychic.)
@user-cf7iu7rn5s while appearance change/cuteness loss was indeed true the question raised in the video was about usage as a Pokémon and in battle. Piplup is actually the best starter in that regard as it has 2 type weaknesses and learns a move that counters it by level up, therefore it's not a poor battler as described. Torterra loses Turtwig's cuteness as does Infernape chimchar's cuteness like you said but the argument in the video was about battle capabilities rather than appearance.
@@levipearson9020 if Infernape is 'just better' then, explain how Empoleon can survive it's super effective Close Combat without the need for a held berry to decrease the damage OR the Affection effect in modern games. Infernape doesn't stand up to Empoleon using surf, liquidation, etc or even Drill peck on a physical/neutral build. Empoleon can learn multiple moves to take out the other 2 Sinnoh starters, with super effective damage, with 2 of the moves learned, being counters per opposing starter. Something they can't do in return to Empoleon. Torterra gets just 1 super effective counter move in Earthquake and Infernape gets 2, but one is originally only taught by a move tutor; Close Combat is learned by levelling up and Thunder Punch by either a move tutor or a TM in modern games. Empoleon can learn Drill Peck(levelling up, Evolution) Ice beam (by TM) and Earthquake (by TM) depending on the generation, giving it overall 3 counters against 2 opponents with at least 2 counters to each opponent. Ice and flying for Torterra and Flying, Ground and Water for Infernape. Piplup's evolution line was made to suffer in the early gyms(Gardenia's specifically) of Diamond/Pearl/Platinum's era because it's final evolution was overall the strongest. It's appearance may lack a gimmick, (i.e it's not Sun Wukong or an Island Turtle.) being that it's a semi metallised Emperor Penguin but in the simple, defined terms of the games; Pokémon typing, stat spread and move set versatility, Empoleon just simply is the best Sinnoh starter. I don't hate the other 2, I just understand that their aesthetics were more their prime feature whereas Empoleon traded in aesthetics for better battle capabilities. Even Torterra can beat Infernape if it has a defensive nature/build. As Infernape CANNOT survive a s.t.a.b super effective Earthquake from Torterra due to it's weak/frail defense stats (it would have to hold a focus sash), meaning the weakest of the 3 Sinnoh starters, Torterra can beat Infernape if all of Infernape's speed and attack power can't deal a guaranteed OHKO to Torterra. Infernape is the second best starter due to it's glass cannon stats, while cool to look at in design, it's battle abilities let it down as it, like Blaziken before it, often MUST secure an OHKO to win. No doubt it's a cool looking Pokémon but Infernape simply isn't the best Starter in Sinnoh, it's the second best (battle wise).
Ive always had Magnezone as my favorite Gen 5 mon. Not only is the is Magnemite line one of my favorite pokemon lines ever, but i also have a special attachment to Magnezone because i pulled him in my very first pack of Pokemon cards as a kid
I'm wrapping up my own beat pokemon blabla with blabla and have a lot more respect for how long these videos take and how much running around/ grinding are in between all the main battles. Also a cool original idea to do it with regions instead of typings/shinys that I haven't seen anywhere else.
Wait, I haven’t finished the video but who the fff is Prince @5:22….???!!!!!!!! Since when? I checked the video 3 times and you did not catch that atm.
@@BPNuzlockes thanks you! It was completely unexpected, but it was definitely something nice, especially since it evolved and completed the line and it was my first rare mark shiny.

if you end up doing a gen 5 run and end up catching galvantula at any point please name it sylvie gen 5 was my first ever region and i love that lil spider to bits
Meow.. is that Pacherisu my name?! EEEEK, I LOVE IT!! But I'm gonna leave my favorite mon anyways (not askin to add my name, and I'm Tina btw lol). That being said, 100% Empoleon and Floatzel ^^❤
I know you want to make things as difficult as possible but maybe tone down on some of the rules. Especially the whole no set moves. Like it just really limit the interesting strategy options, which is kind one of the funnest parts of watching nuzlockes.
Ever since I got my first Pokémon game like a week ago (which was brilliant diamond)I have had a soft spot for empoleon(not to mention that he is absolutely a tank)
