It's funny that the title said " Everybody hates Chris " that reminds me of a sitcom a long time ago.
There was an edit of that show with sonic characters. It's on one of the videos with sonic and tails (I think one of the memes videos)on the "Tails and Sonic pals" channel.

Overall Chris is definitely an underrated character and deserves to not be judge at first sight. He’s an good kid.

You can blame 4kids for some hate for the kid. The original Japanese portrayal of Chris was done better even tho still annoying sometimes but his voice isn't grating like the English Dub voice.

Sonic X is cool! i think they pulled the personality's off pretty well! (Except for chris in the 1st 2 seasons he's very whiny) but in season 3 they did chris justice! also i think cosmo is cool character and should be represented in more media OMG. Like if you like the character cosmo because i do!
Aggred Chris was very annoying in those seasons. Season 3 they cleaned him up.

You know chris in season 3 matured alot :) and i didnt minde him at all in th show exept for the part chris wouldnt let sonic go back to his world but all from that chris was a ok character :)

Chris ain't that bad imo. I don't love him but I don't hate him either. I think Chris get's a lot of unnecessary hate. Sure he was kinda annoying and was always really clingy especially to Sonic and he always screwed things up but ya'll gotta remember he's just a kid. Of course he's gonna be annoying and clingy and always screwing things up he's like 10. And at least he tried to helped. Plus I really started to like him in season 3 considering the fact he was an adult in his child's self body. If you hate him that's fine and understandable but just understand why he acts the way he does. Again I don't love him, I am not a fan I just think he's an okay character.

to me was just OK i mean sega heart was in the right place giving sonic a human companion but compared to Tom from the sonic films chris at times seemed like dead weight compared to the other characters. i did like his design though he reminds me of sora from kingdom heart but unlike chris at least sora was well you know "armed" chris parctically had NOTHING to defend himself with whilie Tom on the other hand is a police officer so at least he had a gun
