Loving the little videos on getting to know Grandpa’s Jeep. I was just looking for original seats for my CJ6 in Australia and it is impossible, thanks to your video I think I can make my own seeing how simple the design is. Thanks for sharing!!
Good video Stan. In my 1969 CJ5 I cut into the wheel well and moved the seat back 4”. Now I have plenty of room. Amazing what a difference it makes. Other than that the Jeep is factory stock.
I love your videos and the rest of the flat fender crew too. I like the fact that you did the belly clearance test. I am building a cj3a from scratch, including the seat frames. I did not want to cut out the wheel tubs, nor extend the fire wall. I made my own with a bit of recline on the backrest and have gone with 3 inch foam on the seat and 2 inch foam of the backrest. It seems like it'll work. With all of the old Willys jeeps, it's mostly repair and restoration videos. It is nice to see normal issues or user problem videos. Thank you.

Those look great Stan. You’ll be glad you did that. Big improvement for sure.
Those are going to look good.
Nice job Stan.
Doing mine soon, great instructional video!!
Thanks for the video Stan! Your butt is going to be so happy now!
Looking at that steering wheel position, the belly would be the least of my worries 🤣
Why’s that?
@@Grampas-jeep Because its awful close to the nads 🤣😂
✨beef jerky pockets ✨
Those zippered pockets make it look like those cushions are in backwards
There are zippers for larger pockets on the back.
