I got this set for my 6th Birthday, the nostalgia is overwhelming. I remember my older sister tried put Batman’s cape on by putting his arms through the two holes and ripped it, had a Batman with a ripped cape all throughout my childhood
This is a pretty awesome set. The sad part is I remember my mom and dad got me this back into 2006 and I built it with my dad. Unfortunately everything has been long lost in this day and age but definitely an iconic set.
That black and gold Batman minifig is definitely top 5 Batman figs to me tbh. So nostalgic and the gold looks so good and unique compared to the yellow
I still have this, until the Ideas Ecto-1 came out this Batmobile was my last Lego purchase and I’ve slowly gotten back into Lego over the past 9 years.
I remember my dad got me this back in 06 and I just remember the way home I kept looking at the box art. Kept flipping front to back. Funny thing though I just pulled this lego set out from the shelf😅
I used to have this set…most of its long gone I was like six and didn’t appreciate LEGO at the time, but luckily I somehow have all of the printed parts. So I might just get the missing generic pieces on brick link.
I am your age .I remember going to kbtoys in 2006 and being super.hype to get my hands on a batman . I bought the Catwoman set. To this day, still is my favorite lego set I ever bought in the store . The batman line from 06 was hard to beat . I still have plenty of my mini figures
I got mine years ago from a comic shop, it was used, already assembled and put on display, sadly whoever put it together for the store left off the side build, the target on the back, so my Two-Face truck can be seated in the back, i even modded it a bit to add some windows, swapped the wheel wells to add more two tone, and some tiles to the top.

The 2006 sets played a HUGE part of my childhood. Not to mention LEGO Batman the video game was my ever (& my all time favourite video game) on my PS2

Two-Face’s hairpiece was indeed painted, and was actually the first LEGO hairpiece to be painted.
I had this as a kid and it's somewhere in my garage storage. Probably built but slightly disassembled

I bought this a set a few years ago at a thrift store and it had no sticker sheet so I sold it for I think $30 on eBay. Dang that sucks
