@@alexmello4748 a cvt is completely different to an auto. And the cvt in this game is AWFUL. It doesn't change rpms ever. Look up how a cvt works.

Anything works, but you want something of decent quality. I recommend the Logitech G29 wheel with the shifter. You'll also have to install the Logitech GHub driver so that BeamNG.drive can detect the wheel. Here's a link to the download site: www.logitechg.com/en-us/innovation/g-hub.html

I hate CVT's so much in Beam. They jsut Rev up to an rpm and sit there as the car accelerates. They never "upshift" to reduce gears (saying "upshift" cus CVT's don't have set gears like autos and manuals, but rather variable gears that can make almost infinite number gear ratios. They're also shitty irl, as my dad found out with his CVT Accord which does not like being at high revs)
18 and up Accords tend to drive ok with their CVTs from personal, but I went with the 2.0 and 10 speed auto on my car. I understand the CVT complaint, many people hate them, and it's justified based on reliability and engine drone. Fortunately for people who don't care, they tend to give better gas mileage especially in the city.

My dad has a 13 Accord, and we went up a not even steep mountain road, overtaking cars occasionally, not going hard on it at all, and the cvt kept changing the ratio and eventually the car overheats, and some electronic function was gone. Then it was fine for the next few hours, at a light as we go form the light it starts lurching a lot. And then last year the AC went out in the middle of summer. Went out with my dad yesterday to test drive some cars. 3 cars. Golf GTI SE, Mazda 3 premium, and a Veloster N. Definitely loved the Veloster the most, and so far with everyone in my family wants my dad to get the Veloster. The GTI turned way too fast for my dad, as it only rotates once in every direction before locking. Although the GTI was quicker, I still liked the Veloster N a ton more
I may be biased but if you're looking in that price range and you want something fast and luxurious instead of a manual hot hatch check out the new Accord Touring's. They're expensive but they've got over 250hp, get great gas mileage, ride super comfortably, and have tons of features like ventilated seats, heated rear seats, heads up display, full LED headlights, adaptive dampers, and half digital gauges.
