how can anyone watch this and not see how important Hamilton is to this team first few games they were deadly on the PP and blueline with his shot. november on they fell off. next season should be good as long as everyone stays healthy
Yeah, he held up our D-line and kept them solid, sadly once he was gone they got to underperform and scapegoat the goalie to hide their shortcomings, won't be the case this season
@@TheDevilsOwl505 idk if the goalies were a scapegoat. the defense wasn't great so the goalies letting in more made sense but their advanced stats that adjust for poor defense were also some of the worst in the entire league

Sucha frustrating season this was, it felt like the boys thought they were gonna walk it, then injuries happened and they just lost all heart and motivation, the fact we lost Schmid due to this is heart-breaking, dude carried us past the Rangers in playoffs then gets betrayed by his defence the following season, hopefully we're tighter on the back end and our star players can get past the Sharks & Ducks AHL goalies this time

Watching McLeod score all these goals knowing what happened is such a weird feeling.
No excuses considering what he apparently did but he was shaping up to be one of the best bottom 6 centers in the league.
I'm so glad this season is over, the most frustrating Devils seasons ever. Need a big offseason from Fitz to be good in 2024-2025
