Absolutely stellar watching these two. Big darts, wire as big as an underwater cable, and managing to still hit averages moser dart players will never see
The two of them didn't really get on, very different personalities. John was the hero and Eric the villain for much of the 80's as far as fans were concerned, due to Bristow's arrogance. Sadly for them, Eric was camping for free inside Lowe's head and, save for a few notable occasions like the 1987 Embassy final, the Crafty Cockney beat his rival most of the time.
Two legends but one thing which is very noticeable is Eric’s smooth throwing action. He was still good in the 90’s pushing Phil Taylor in close matches at times but he definitely lost some of that smoothness.

Bristow causally throwing his darts while cradling a cigarette in his left hand, fantastic! Things you'll never see again.
I was at this game 😊👍 , great memories 🎯🍻🍻
Were you at the battle of little big horn? 😮
@@Realpoweronearth 🤣
John Lowe only 36 years old... guy looks 50 here lol
When darts was proper in my eyes good old days ❤❤
Such opposites. Absolute classic,mint match
Eric was the phenom John Lowe was the boss
Why on earth did Tony green say "Eric you require 162. You can't finish on 162 with 3 darts 🙄
Yes strange error that.
Yes Tony Green made a blunder in that leg . And also when he called Eric requires 176
@@daviddavidson3603 Different times - maybe Tony did that sometimes in those days to warn the players to be careful with their scoring.
Good game, 2 greatest player
Love that you can hear the spotter whispering.
John Lowe with the ‘I’ll just get my coat’ look just after Bristow shakes his hand.

both legends in the earley days
Both legends. Full stop.
Tough bounce for Lowe in the final leg.
It was but he still should have won it.

Was good for 1 week In the 90s
A corker of a match.
If John didn’t lose that first dart it may have made all the difference, fine lines
How the hell does Eric manages to throw his dart with that hand grip.. honestly, it looms really complicated.
You have to admit, they are good.
Best of three shit for a final
Kitsch is not the word
No winning by 2 clear legs for this? Shame!
Classic.
Why did he tell Eric he required 176
162 you mean
Sounds like "176" to me
@@daviddavidson3603 Maybe we're not talking about the same leg. In the last one he tells Eric he requires 162.
@@Wally-H Yes your right. I was referring to a previius leg. As was parksyist
Aaahhhh bristow
Bristow moves, Bristow quickens...
The referee is the best guy...
Tomáš Svoboda
His name is Tony Green 😁
🎯
As good as Lowe was watching him was like watching paint dry.
idiot
what do you watch them for then hoping for some sexual content?
@@billybobs1705 to be fair that's why most of us watched it
