Could be.. malls have been dying too and this area is surprisingly big, but I don’t like it’s an area for a lot of shopping. The only store left was target and it was barely alive!
My sister used to work in that JCPenney. It is sad to see it just sit there and rot. I remember trying to get a table in the food court or going to The Ground Round. The last time I was in there I went into Sears which was the most depressing atmosphere I've ever experienced in a retail setting. Empty shelves, items scattered about, barely anyone working in there. And you were in Berkshire County, the town you were in was Lanesborough.
Thanks, this was quite the experience, was here for vacation. Was a very interesting place. Would have loved to get in, so decayed and rotting away inside. Many People were inside before me. The Sears was amazing. That design and having the auto care center label scars still noticeable! Was so amazing to see! Stay safe and have a good day! Explore on 🔦🙌
I miss the Berkshire mall because I had a lot of fun when I was younger. i loved the bounce house and the theater, etc. I'm like 25-30 minutes away because I live in North adams
nice
Thanks!
Hey brother, cool walkaround 😎 . Pity you couldn't gain entry, but it was still nice to see from the outside. I liked 👍🏻 and subscribed 😉
Thanks!!!
I don’t see any cameras….
I wonder why this nice mall closed before COVID arrived? Maybe they were behind on their taxes?

I heard it's because they needed more money to stay up on their rent, but the stores then started leaving, and then the mall shut down
Why most of your USA malls without automatic main doors? Here in Estonia almost all our malls with automatic doors since 2000's
not sure!

Agreed, it was a sight to see! I’m so glad I got to witness it. Wish I got inside, but hey, I checked it off my life
