Sounds great, but I think a built in gate function on the bottom strip would make a lot of sense. There's plenty of space down there to shift things around and add a gate section to the right of the Ducker section. Already have self-ducking built in which is a very nice feature to have, I think a self-gate option with a threshold knob and release knob would probably be sufficient. I think if part of the selling feature is how much it replicates 80s reverb, then it helps to not have to pair it with other 3rd party gate plugins to pull off the classic 80s gated reverb trick. Maybe a patch update to consider for the future. Thanks again for all of the continued awesome plugins.
I think this reverb sounds amazing! Can’t wait to use it. I hope you guys update the mega sampler. it has so much potential and I’m so excited to use it more in my productions.
@@PluginAllianceTV the ability to map and play one shots and maybe round robins, MPE, LFO improvements to be able to modulate like a synth, a granular mode since granular synths are essentially samplers, an arp, and actually let’s go crazy! Since there’s slots, let’s add the ability to fm one signal from one slot to the other. Or add an fm knob that will fm my sample from basic waves that I can choose from a drop down menu underneath the fm knob. Also add a morph knob lol. Take your time adding these things to the sampler. I really love the formant feature and I wanna use it to play vocal chops. My dream is to see the sampler be as crazy as I envision it. 2 LFOs 2 filters and all the good features I mentioned above. Thank you!🙏🏻
If you’re going to add the round robin’s feature, expand on the NI section to allow artists to share or maybe sell their patches. Let it also be its own little market
@@michellaforce2414 I wouldn't say it's useless per se. It's the solution for high/low pass filtering on the original hardware. It wouldn't make sense to implement the contour thing AND a low pass/high pass filter. To include the high/low pass filter, they would have to remove the contour section so as not to make it redundant. But the contour section is a feature of the device they built this on. Since the replica is the usp, I don't think that's going to happen.

@@PluginAllianceTV well, you did it wrong then 🙂 In the original hardware this blue line indicates to different blocks of the unit and separates them, so the user visually SEE three independent function blocks of the reverb. Does it work with Apple silicon ? Cause I bought the better maker EQ and still can’t use it on my new rig unless I use Rosetta and screw up everything else . Getting a bit fed up with better maker
7:00 . I don't think that information is correct. According to the hints in the plugin itself turning "Bass" on "generates longer reverberation times in low frequencies" and turning "Treble" on "generates shorter reverberation times in high frequencies"
Haha, you'd have to have a really powerful chip to replicate this hardware without relying on an impulse response. There's already a recommended plugin emulation available, unless PA buys LiquidSonics.
Brilliant things PCM60, PCM70. Too bad blueprints were ultimately lost and delay/modulation PCM algorithms cannot be recreated to make a hardware reissue and software plugins. Once the OG hardware goes out of order in due time, PCMs will be lost forever.

Bettermaker need to do one more plugin everyone is waiting for, they know but not sure what stopping them. Bettermaker Mastering Limiter.

I second this!

Insane how much plugins you put out there! Thanks!
How cool...I had a PCM 60 back in the early 80ies
The demos sound great...so now I'm downloading ;)
Nice to have another reverb in the PA ecosystem. Sounds great!
Finally, a new reverb. Yay
Used this on a vocal and sound good to me. It is fairly easy to use and i was able to quickly dial in a sound

Thanks for the feedback. Which features and functionality would you like to see added to the MEGA Sampler?

We Would like to see a DW Fearn VT5 as plugin like The Ruby 2 By Acustica
PA needs to bring the Greg Wells Series Plugins under its umbrella. Would be a massive boost to the ecosystem.
yeah PA,...finally you've got into reverbs....keep it on :)😁😁😁
defently head this kinda reverb before :) Adding to cart!
Please make BetterMaker Limiter emulations that's what we really need
Cool the pcm60! but where are concert hall and all other algo? :)
Nice but why the omission of the important Low / High Cut, there's more than enough space at the bottom, easy to program, and so useful
See the Contour section...
@@bjulin Useless , you need a classic rotary high/low pass so you can cut where you want depending on source or material, unless I am seing wrong

Hi, thanks for the video. However, is it normal that the Unfiltered Audio G8 Gate cannot be bypassed (in Nuendo)? Is this a bug?

It's based on a piece of harware from the 80s, including the aesthetic.
