Exactly, I'm thinking about the volla phone and holochain as an opportunity to create tool for distributed, networked collaboration. And I think we could even spin it further by asking the question, how can we create tools, not only to build communities, but encourage networked collaboration and community in the physical world. The digital tools would not be an easy opt out of physical reality, but a tool to teach us to reconnect with real people in the real world. I would love to connect with people in this corner to work on these ideas. Is there a way to collaborate on such projects David or Dr. Werzer?
Thank you all for your work! This is such an important step forward in terms of winning the hearts and minds of people in terms of being able to see something physical they can relate to which is powered by Holochain. I'm only disappointed the software isn't licensed under CAL like Moss as I'm off on a train tomorrow 3h each way to go show someone who has an audience of 500,000 people what Moss and Holochain could do for him and his audience and how they could be participants in the process. I would absolutely love to show them the messaging app, but with its dependency on a "pay us money to make it 'open source'" dependency of p2pshipyard and a Volla license of "free for personal use", I can't, and that makes me sad because I have a potential army of contributors and the ideal platform for them to leverage but it has to be a two-way thing, and sadly, this looks like it isn't. I hope this changes in time and wish you all the best.
