The reference for this act of ruqyah before bed is in hadith sahih al-Bukhari (5017), however whether to blow first or after seems to differ depending on who did the English translation of this hadith. IslamQA and Assim Al Hakeem mention blow first, but the online English translations of sahih bukhari mention blowing after.

@@yusufismail7800 I used to blow before but then heard to blow after and it made more sense so started doing that, I guess either one works?
