Have you at some point considered making a way smaller pond or mass of water at ground level so that frogs or other future animals can lay their eggs, drink from or just hang around a very moist area? Maybe something like a small flowing river or waterfall where the water level is really low... And maybe even keep some small fish or crabs or other tropical invertebrates... Idk maybe its not possible but i think that would be sick. Keep up the content sir, your small piece of jungle is really shaping up!! :)
Very excited to see this project develop further! If theres a "dwarf" form of Victoria amazonica, i think that would look amazing in a corner/side of the big pond! Also Vampire crabs would be a amazing addition once the stream is set up, they stay small, but not too small to be hard to see, are pretty passive with anything they cant fit into their mouths, are incredibly colorful and easy to breed once established! And imagine having tropical butterflies fluttering around once it matures more!
Awesome video and some great additions! the greenhouse is so exciting with all the unique life that it holds. definitely looking forward to your adventures in the jungle :)
How about giving the frogs a lot more nesting sites other than carnivorous plants? A ton of bromiliads, artificial water-filled nesting places, etc. would that work?
@@ALifeExotic my final guess is sakashima grass lizard. Also if you’re interested in more bromeliads, I have some neoregalia varieties I’ve been growing and haven’t used in any enclosures. I’m in slc
@@SublimeSquamata you’re insaaanely close now haha but not quite there on the species! I’m good on bromeliads for now, but once I finish hardscaping I’ll be looking for a ton more!
@@ALifeExotic I’ll just have to wait and see! And rad man. I’m also growing some pitcher plants from seed if you end up wanting more of those. Love how that greenhouse is turning out!
@@SublimeSquamata That’s awesome. And thank you! If you ever have anything you think I’d be interested in feel free to msg me on IG. I’m always buying new random plants lol. You’ll also have to swing by and check it out in person sometime
A few asparagus ferns would look stunning in here

Ya I mean I already have a bunch and do plan to keep adding a lot more. But after doing some more research I don’t think it’ll be a problem regardless
Keel bellied lizard is what you are adding
Nope! Close but not quite

It’s actually an emerald tree skink!

in my opinion, any type of Brookesia would thrive in your greenhouse@@ALifeExotic
Have you considered adding Canaries to your Green House?
@@ILiketurtles973 I just realized you were referring to the lizard I’ll be adding not what I already have 🤦♂️ but nope haha not a keel bellied
