Hello from the land of Maharishi. The lockdown has been harsh in India but the silver living in 2 months of confinement has been rediscovering Eckhart by chance. Ramana Maharshi was a very crystalized consciousness.🙏🏻 Yes, he always said the purest teaching was silence. Just imbibe the grace of the guru. But for those with burning questions and less sensitivity, he offered varied levels of truth with prescribed sadhana for those that needed "something" to hold onto until a time would eventually come when they no longer needed it. hello Elizabeth. yes this is true self realization is tough for someone unprepared or inexperienced like myself. I want to explore the spirituality and choose the right spiritual path but being able to function and be present in this world. I don't think it is right to neglect it
I am really prioritizing being present nowadays. It feels like I am close to some sort of shift. Several times a day I am completely present. It happens whenever I sit down and read 2 sentences from Eckhart. It is wonderful and I sometimes wonder why I dont want it more. My mind is still sabotaging me and tells me that other stuff is more important.
That's called making progress :) Your awareness is alarming to your ego, and it's trying to sabotage you. The more aware you are of it, the more space you have around it....... Keep reading. Dowload and listen to it when driving or walking.... Eventually your ego will lose it's strength.
I’m watching this in Queensland Australia at 1.30am. My dog just saw something out the window on our property, probably a cat or a wallaby, and woke me up. This has helped me realize that what we emanate can answer the observer's questions. This goes beyond respect. Presence is exuded in the exosome. We transmit information to the environment constantly. Ramana Maharshi's presence was enough. Imagine spiritual evolvement to that level. Wow. Thank you. Thank you for revealing how much we do not treasure our own influence. And old trees mesmerize me, yes. I love to meditate under these old ones, placing right hand on trunk and left hand on ground, after first asking permission for increased insight using the tree's energy. I have never been refused. The uploads are fast, incredible, and so very wise. I so love these old beings and all elemental helpers.
I realize we don't need thought at all, this is a limitation we place on ourselves. Spiritual evolvement and pure consciousness is possible, I found that place recently, trying not to fall back and to keep diving deeper. The guiding path of intuition can take us where we need, I am still searching for somebody who is in the same place but this is harder and very scarce. Everybody is stuck in the limiting factor, of "living with thought" the half-way house, it doesn't have to be that way. They are missing the guide and complete separation.

We are so blessed to have enlightened teachers like Ekhart - Anthony de Mello -another enlightened teacher- his Book "Awareness" is amazing - Iv read it at least 20 times! Just like The Power of Now" it leads us back to our true divine nature -which is always there waiting to be recognized..
It would be very powerful if Eckhart did a silent teaching, just Being in Presence and staring into the camera. A few times here I caught my breath as he was looking right at the camera. The depth of his eyes was fathomless. I can't even imagine the power of him staring into ones eyes for 10 minutes. Something moved in my heart just now.
Awakening only means you find sand in your eyes. But we never feel the sand building up. Love the Oogway reference, he may be a new incarnation of this great master. Or the other way around.
I've already read Somerset Maughan's book The Razor's Edge. It's a great book. I didn't know that he had met with Ramana Maharshi, it's really cool to know. There are two recorded films of The Razor's Edge. An older one, and another one from the 80s, when Bill Murray plays the main character. Very nice.
I love J Krishnamurti too, he has no truck with nonsense. You do realise, this is not the same incarnation, don´t you? This one is called Eckhart Tolle. Bodies, I know... It is always now, but the bodies move on.

We are so blessed to have enlightened teachers like Ekhart - Anthony de Mello -another enlightened teacher- his Book "Awareness" is amazing - Iv read it at least 20 times! Just like The Power of Now" it leads us back to our true divine nature -which is always there waiting to be recognized..

It would be very powerful if Eckhart did a silent teaching, just Being in Presence and staring into the camera. A few times here I caught my breath as he was looking right at the camera. The depth of his eyes was fathomless. I can't even imagine the power of him staring into ones eyes for 10 minutes. Something moved in my heart just now.

There are two recorded films of The Razor's Edge. An older one, and another one from the 80s, when Bill Murray plays the main character. Very nice.
