Sir in production i am seeing this esxi physical server connected to switch port under truck vlans from 100 to 107. But with vlan102 which is hypervisor vlan that is forming RIP routing with switch may i know why?
can we select multiple services like vmotion,FT etc for Vmkernel port
Just curious if there is really a need for 3 physical ports, one for each VLAN? You identified the Port Groups and their respective VLANs already. Couldn't you use just one physical port as a trunk to your switch and only require one physical port on the ESXi host as well? I thought that was the purpose of "trunking" in data networks? Thoughts?
Hi,
Im configuring a zabbix server in a Linux CentOs8 that is running on a Vmware.
This virtual machine is running on a server that has 3 physicals Adapters.
Each physical adapter has it own IP segment like bellow:
Adpt1 10.188.127.250/24
Adpt2 10.188.160.250/24
Adpt3 10.188.130.250/20
The virtual machine has IP like bellow:
ens160 10.188.127.251/24
ens161 10.188.160.251/24
ens254 10.188.130.251/20
Problem:
Just Adpt1 and ens160 is working.
If I change the IP segment of ens160 to the others segment it works. But I need each adapter communicate separately.
In VMware settings all adapter were created and marked as bridge.
Please help

How do i add uplink to vswitch if i have only one physical adapter instead of 4?
