Really wonderful pilot for a genre I never seen tackled as a Roblox series. One of the most unique and thrilling series I've seen in both presentation and story telling.
I don't know why but this seems like a very specific type of artstyle to go into a zombie pandemic. I know it's not going too but it really looks like it.
Im an addict for true crime... Even tho its Roblox, its made so well and the gta 4 music+ the guy being Romanian made it kinda funny since i really love gta.4
13:52 i like how they use the "partner told us everything" trick to get him to talk this is actually really similar to how police work and stuff great job
The DBH music is just... perfect... the hostage ost is one of the best in my opinion on all DBH, both Soviet connection and hostage matches really good with this animation.
The story is really good here, coming from someone that loves a police procedural story. Voice acting is neat, interrogation scenes are satisfying to watch as the way you portrayed them felt like an actual interrogation clip from the angle and CCTV footage styled effects. The case was also interesting to watch and follow till the end. However, my issues here are with the sound design as for example, in 8:09 you could add a small blood spurt sound effect to depict the person getting shot because without it, it just felt empty to listen. If you do want some blood spurting sfx do let me know and I can provide some for you since I have them in my sound library. I do love the DBH OSTs, but since this takes place in modern day and the DBH soundtracks have a futuristic vibe, it didn't really fit here. Overall, it is a good video, with some sound improvements it could even be better. I look forward to watching the second episode!
I really like how he used Connor's theme from DBH considering he is also a detective and looks similar to Woods (except the stubble), his entire personality actually matches with Connor's personality, even the interrogation scene was a reference to the actual DBH interrogation! I am amazed, keep up the work man!
This is really cool! The artstyle is really good. Or well... animation style. This is very entertaining and has a good idea and good execution! I'm amazed someone can turn roblox into this...
love the DBH reference taken from its first mission. im not a nerd in these kinda things, but i can give you pointers so that your future short films can be more accurate. 1. The sequence where Fireteam Alpha wants to use explosives to breach the door is pretty unrealistic. Sure, the door is fricking barricaded with like 5 locks, but since one of the operators already confirmed the victims were inside, using explosives is highly dangerous. using explosives with civilians inside poses huge danger and concern to the victims inside the garage. even if the victims are not directly infront or next to the door, shockwaves, debris, or secondary hazards could cause significant harm. in the end, there are better and more ethical breaching ways to breach a barricaded door. 2. when you want to request permission to do an action for example, the explosives, you will confirm it with your chief in command or anyone in control of the operation. They are those that know best about what is the most better outcome and what its affects will do to the operation. Confirming explosives to a door with your local dispatch is not even going to HAPPEN, because you dont communicate with dispatch during this time, at least in the real world. Same goes with the sniper, you confirm this with whoever is in command of this operation, mostly through radio channels. And dont get me wrong: while the question "Will the shot hit/injure the suspect" is a good question, the victim is not the priority of this specific situation, but rather deescalating the hostage situation, mainly targetting the one with the gun. Usually, you will be given the greenlight to fire on a suspect, if armed or poses imminent threat to the victims/public around them example a bomb situation, which even then, SWAT will back up and negotiators will pile in. 3. First of all, negotiators, im pretty sure are ALWAYS on-site incase of a hostage situation. You will NEVER hear on radio channels that no negotiators are available, especially for such a high-risk operation like this. in-fact, that house will be swarmed by police cars, tape cordoning off the area and a clear scene, but budget is there for a reason, innit?(jk, i appreciate the hardwork put into the animations, love it.) 4. understandable that you limit your teams into 2 people, because editing is hard enough. (im an animator myself, the crap i gotta go through is real.) In real scenarios for this, squads are limited to at least 5 (stack-team), because i assume in this operation, you understand how the kidnappers may react, how many people they have in their gang, what weapons they possess or whether they have a crew behind them. Intel is crucial and is what makes an operation safe or dangerous and is makes the difference at how many operators you are going to send on the field to raid the house. 5. based on how you set your Fireteam, your snipers cap shouldnt be on. I might be wrong, but i assume the intel you gather on this episode is that you know much about how the kidnappers operate, so i dont see why your sniper(that took the shot) should have a closed lens cap, not like theres a sniper from a distance away from the scene that will snipe the sniper, right? and also, the spotter next to the sniper is higher than your sniper, which makes the spotter an easy target(if there was a sniper) P.S, i like the factor where the sniper didnt go kaboom at the hostage-takers head. It is an irrelevant part and is much easier to shoot at limbs/torso instead of going for the head, especially for this operation because it isnt kill-on-sight. 6. When Fireteam Delta deals with the hostage situation, the operator talking to dispatch lowers his weapon and uses his left hand to talk to dispatch. never, and i mean NEVER, lower your weapon in cases like this, especially a hostage situation. Im not sure this is a general rule of thumb, but lowering your weapon in this situation means its now your buddy and the suspect. Things can go incredibly wrong with this mistake. Example: the operator lowers his weapon to speak to dispatch, and the suspects sees it as an opportunity to catch your squad offguard. He fires a lethal shot at your buddy, and just as you process that your buddy is shot, you are shot too. Now, the suspects head was noticably higher than the victim, as the victim was more slouched, and his firing hand is sticking out easy. If there was no absolute choice, you would just keep your right armed trained with your PISTOL, not your rifle, on the weak point and THEN use your left hand to talk to dispatch. if you are criminally broken enough to use your rifle SINGLE-HANDEDLY, your rifle will fly out of your hand, depending on the gun you have. i probably exaggerated this part abit, but its from the mistakes i made when playing in VR. You use your left hand to do something, right hand now, buddy shot and your dead before you know it. yea thats all
THIS IS A MASTER PEACE! the amount of deatil put into this is CRAZY. this should get more views. the acting, animation, and models are amazing. theses people are underrated. I hope to see more of this type of stuff in the future. i can see this channel growing! keep up the good work v-films!

I don't know why but this seems like a very specific type of artstyle to go into a zombie pandemic. I know it's not going too but it really looks like it.
Fun fact, the assets I used in this film were actually from an abandoned zombie game project that I was working on. Idk how u figured that out
@v-film-studio style reminded me of those who remain and walking dead telltale style

I’m looking forward to episode 2, such a entertainment to watch while I was insanely bored on the train.
It's better than taking a road trip or waiting at a flight which sometimes can get delayed and take too long.

I kept forgetting this was a roblox animation while watching this, very well animated and very well paced, felt like i was watching a movie
Absolutely cinematic, this reminded me of a bunch of series such as S.W.A.T on Netflix, and that youtuber fern, very similar references!
yk i dont really leave comments but this right here, this is a MASTERPIECE. i want more
i know the music is definitely from detroit become human, but the little negotiation scene gave me major nostalgia...
