I purchased the wingsung 3013 and I like the nib but unfortunately mine was defective and the plunger area was cracked after the first fill and started leaking. I’m happy to see that it worked well for you, I may reorder a new one. Wonderful video
I had one 2 years ago that leaked terribly although it functioned. I hope they improved it because I just bought another to see if they solved problem. Very inexpensive vacuum pens are risky.
After about a day the pen skipped so badly and I think it’s just the Graphite ink, because that also made the Wing Sung 698 skip so badly. So I emptied the pen and washed it out. Now wondering what ink to test it out with next.
@@maryannemoll Standard black and blue have more viscosity, lighter gorgeous golds can be very thin and drip right through nib--then you have to mix with more viscous darker ink. Skipping--one tine higher or more forward than other, or too tight together, or just need to break in. Turn converter knob left and add ink pressure into nib until ink drips--I have to do this a lot with pens that are hard starters--a pain. Those beautiful small Jinhao 80's you love are too small-you have small hands--and must be capped for standard hand sizes. It's a miniature pen but cheap and nice quality--I just bought one.
I checked the nib tines and they look properly aligned to me. Maybe it’s really just the ink. Because with the Kelly Green the 698 writes so well but skips terribly with the Graphite.

Have bought two and it won’t pull up the ink. Disappointed.
