Very well thought out plan! Looking forward to seeing how you do! Good luck out there! 🤓
Thank you! Yes, there is a lot of planning involved in a 100-mile ultra. And sometimes we still overlook something lol.

Good luck on race day! Keep pushing and inspiring Reto.
@@RunFreeandStrong new plan in place to get me back on track and to get the miles up!
@@michaelsanderson7328 wishing you success, Michael! You got this!
Great info sharing, Reto. Sounds like you have thought everything through, ready to go.
Do you know if the Garmin 945 can be charged during a run without needing any special knowledge. I'm wary of it stopping the activity recording if I plug it in.
Thanks Mark. Ready to go! Yes, the Garmin 945 can be charged during the run. I've linked 2 helpful videos, the first shows how to disable certain 945 features to extend battery life during an ultra (link at the top of the screen at 7:15) and how to charge a Garmin while running (link at top of the screen at 7:29). I raced the Yeti 100 M and charged the watch while running and didn't stop the watch. Cheers.
You’ve done the work, serious work and now it’s almost here. I truly hope it goes well for you Reto, you deserve a solid result on the journey to UTMB 2025. Do you have a race number so I can track you, is it live tracking or just certain markers along the 100m?
Hi Andy, thank you very much for your interest and support. The live tracking link in the description enables you to input my name or bib number (201). Please keep in mind that we're running through remote areas and canyons, so the live tracking may not always be up to date, but probably catches up at each aid station at the latest. It is live tracking.
Thanks Reto, I got you. What time does it start on Friday and is it over 3 days?
@@AndyCliffMTB Andy, starts on Friday, 9 am Pacific Standard Time (PST) and ends Saturday, 8 pm (35-hour cutoff). Thanks.
@@RunFreeandStrong You’ll do well, lots of us will be willing you on I’m sure💪🚂⚙️✅
Lets Go!! See you out there!
PLEASE NOTE.. They have changed the cut offs for Michigan Bluff and Foresthill :)
Hey, can't wait to meet you and share a few miles! Let's get it done!
Note: thanks for the heads up. I've pinned your comment.
