I know what you mean. I actually have a pan under the strands while drying so I can reuse the remains from the drip. Just be careful that if your beads bleed with color it may get in the remains of the Petrifier. Enjoy!

Absolutely! Before placing on a toothpick, coat the toothpick with wax or dip into candle wax to prevent the paperbead from sticking to the toothpick. What are those weights you are using? Where did you get them from?
there called bullet weights or sinkers. Their used for fishing. I purchased them at walmart. You don't have to use them . you can also use heavy clips
My beads are still tacky after first dip... left them overnight... what am i doing wrong?

I was able to get just one bottle of pc petrifier. I feel bad wasting even a drop when shaking off the excess. I guess I have no choice.

I personally would experiment with different types of glue but if it's the same as gold foil I would try tacky glue by Aleens
