Thank you. I love your explores. I have been a avid book collector of coastal towns of the eastern shore. I've learned alot from them but it really makes me happy to visualize the history through your videos. My husband and I love riding on the beach but due to his knees not in the best shape I usually explore not to far from the beach.
Great video Jay! What would be cool if you guys had a canoe and could launch from that dock area and paddle out to the bay and explore the back waters in the canoe.
Appreciate the video! I’m a local . I’ve seen Birchs creek on the map but now I can’t find it anywhere! lol my fathers friends dad owned green run before the govt took it over . Mr Jackson . But can you show me where this creek is on the map please ? Us Birchs got here in 1760s I think it was. And on a old census map I saw a hike back that I can’t find now either , had a Birch on assateague area
Wow! Birch is a very historical name here. A lot of Assateague publications list the name Birch in it. Send me an email and I'll try to remember where I saw it on the map. yakattack0311@gmail.com
You and your wife are lucky to have these opportunities, thanks for taking us along. Always a pleasure.
Thanks Rodney! Really glad you enjoy watching our videos.
Again good job 💕👵
Awesome video I didn't know assateague Island had that much history I will have to check it out when I come over in July
I enjoy "hiking along" on your adventures.
Thanks Scott!

Have you checked out Bunk Mann's book on Ocean City? Thanks for watching us exploring! Tons of things to explore and see just in the dunes!
@@ReelJayB I haven't but I will look into getting it. Thank you
Very cool!

Occasionally I go back there in my kayak, maybe I'll do a video of it sometime.

Great video Jay! The family and I were exploring Assateague today. What kind of pass did you purchase to be able to drive out on the beach?
Thanks Chet! It's the OSV pass, you can get it at the ranger station on the federal side.
Need a machete to get through that vegetation. Never knew there was that much history on Assateague.
A machete would have been awesome! Sadly the park service won't let us use them. Definitely would have helped a ton!
