Coffee, alcohol, mustard, even meat. All of them are aquired tastes. And it's the same with licorice and salmiakki. The best things are usually aquired tastes. Personally i love licorice and salmiakki.
I'm Swedish and I love love love liquorice! I don't remember not liking it so I don't know why I do really, but I'm quite sure it's an acquired taste. Something most people just learn to like. And I also think that starting off with the salty kind would be somewhat shocking. 😂 I'm trying to get my husband to like it but no, he doesn't - yet. 😉
Lunilum It was a shocking taste! But actually, after this video, I tried the licorice sweets called Lakris which is a Norwegian sweet brand and I really enjoyed their licorice! It’s covered in Caramel chocolate and tastes so good! I still don’t think I’d enjoy eating only the licorice part but... I highly recommend to try it if you can find it near you :) And hopefully your husband likes it too. Haha And thank you so much for stopping by! You made my day xx
Oh So Mayumi Oh ok I will try to find it for sure next time I go to Norway! Glad you find one you liked! 😄 Sadly though I'm really craving Salty licorice right now, but I live in Korea and there is nothing like it here 😔 my sister will send me a loaded package soon though so I have something to look forward to 😂 Have a nice day! 😄

I love how the language barrier can make this happen: "Sukkerfri" actually means "Sugar free" and "Søtningsmiddel" means "Sweetener" :)
