Well Jami, I guess I need to find myself a hippie. I got sick just before Thanksgiving and I'm still having 1 step forward and 2 steps back. You have excellent B12 and I give myself B12 shots weekly. I see Dr AGAIN on Tuesday. I have Fibromyalgia and related auto immune issues so my system struggles anyway. IF I get sick I just keep spinning my wheels for weeks on end.
I don't drink but I hear whiskey helps. lol
I'll say a prayer that your system responds quickly.

I worked in the school system for 7 years. They’re petri dishes of germs. I use oregano oil and elderberry syrup if i start feeling cruddy.

🇨🇦. THE best way to release tape from artwork is yo WARM it up with a HAIRDRYER. This is a trick learned from a fine art restorer....oxoxox 🇨🇦...love white on white. frame and mat! with the non glare glass...
The Rosenthal German soup terrine and bowl might be worth a lot in the US, but here in Germany, it's very hard to sell, especially green. Blue is the best seller, followed by red, then green. Those pieces aren't that old but are probably vintage 1960s or so. I'm not sure why it's stamped "US Standard Design" but anything that has English writing is after WWII.
Crazy Lamp Lady covers hers and Andrews faces when she has focus issues. Seems to work every time. When framing a painting, glue the brown paper on back and let dry. Take a very damp hand towel and rub the paper with the cloth until uniformly damp. As the paper dries it will tighten and look very professional. You may already know these tricks but just wanted to help where I can. God bless you and your family and happy upcycling. Sherry from Alabama.

Ohh love the Fiesta Ware, my very old pre 1900 ironstone is more blueish/grey tones than pure white/cream

Sweetheart are you sick. Please get some Oil of Oregano. Make sure you have water to chase it down. I put it in the back of my throat. There is another way with on ui onions. But most dont like doing it. Get that in you before it gets worst

I thrift the brass candle sticks, spray paint them a matte white. They look nice as a display of different sizes and shapes on a mantle or table, etc.

Hi Jami and Zeb! I have a DIY question for you pros! I have 1950s enamel canisters that I'd love to stencil. (Something French country.) Can I use chalk paint? Then what would I use to seal them so that they are hand washable? They'll make great doggie treat jars. That's what I'm going for. Thanks so much for your time. Love all your DIY projects. xo
DIY paint will stick to slick enamel but it may take a few coats to get coverage. I’d seal it with big top. Not sure it would ever be washable, wipeable yes, but you wouldn’t want to fully submerge it. Give the paint and sealer 30 days to cure up before you go cleaning them since that surface is so slick.

It’s retail pricing. Think of the grocery store. Almost Nothing ends in .00 Instead of oricing something I want 5.00 for I price it for 4.95.

wow, this was incredibly timely! I went thrifting today and scored three beautiful art pieces, with horribly dated frames and matting. I thought I'd have to at least buy new matting- it never even occurred to me to try painting it! Thanks for the tutorial, I'm definitely going to at least try it and see if mine turns out as well as yours did.
IF you feel the art is valuable, do NOT paint the matting. In time it will discolor and ruin the art. Linda pix framer of 20 plus years

Hi, it's good that you're getting a handle on your health. Speedy recovery! Just some notes on the framed prints. That texture on the mat was a thing. Supposed to look like silk. Usually more oriental and to look upscale. Someone might have changed the prints? Also the frosted glass is nonglare. The white is definitely an improvement. Love all the goodies. What a job, huh! Like Christmas when your friends bring you such good stuff! Love you guys 😊

I have alot of Fiesta ware and McCoy and more old 1920-1950 multiple pieces ranging from ceramic pie dishes, creamers, coffee cups, custard dishes and plates bowls etc. Colors rang from turquoise, pink,yellow, green blue.
All for sale and it is in excellent shape, no cracks or chips. I used them for decorative purposes only. I am willing to sell in one lot or each piece, adorable pieces if you are interested I am in Salt lake. Let me know!

I had years of getting sick at least twice a year! Bronchitis winter time and allergies in spring, sick for months! Since retiring I add turmeric and pepper to eggs, soup and just about everything! Result nothing in a year and a half! Just saying! Enjoyed the haul and your interactions!

The Las Vegas Market is a huge venue that has wholesale vendors. To buy you just need to provide them with your state resale license and tax ID

How do you keep the lids on the apothecarys when displayed?
We usually leave them empty and the just sit on top. We don’t tape them.
