Not buy them, not spending any money on the game, complain about them and wait till they go away. If everyone would do this, they'd be gone the next day. Too bad most gamers don't have a backbone.
It's gambling, there is just no way improve this system. Other good games like PoE e.g. don't need loot crates to have the players spending a fair amount of money over many, many years already. It just hides the true cost of something, playing on the fact that the people (addicts?) think they can get lucky for once. If the developers/publishers really wanted to play fair AND were planning for the long term, they wouldn't have included it in the game in the first place!
you didnt end up getting the 50% discount, when you buy it you have to CLICK the -50% x10 to buy it. and you are able to use your "Lightforge relic" and buy another 10 light forge ingot from the other "beach holiday" + the 50% discount from that too and use it on any bundle.
Thanks for the sacrifice on doing the vid man. The drop rates on these crates is stupid, with far too many duplicates. Hell, even the rate on the Seasonal crates in the Metsuko mark shop end up with more duplicates then actual items dropping. Of course, they will say they did improve the chance of getting the premium items this time around, from 0.40% chance to 1% chance. Still, 1 out of 100 is not a good chance. I like your idea of making these loot crates work the same way the Wish machine does. I would be up for that.
Personally I loved the Pyro Glide, and now the unique cradle in this set. Also the fireplace is very nice, those are the two items I’d cherry pick from this lot.
I spent money on 10 crates and got the costume and the planter. I was happy with that. I didn’t buy the summer beach crates at all and brought 20 of the motorcycle crates. I was totally ok with that, even though I didn’t get all the things I wanted but I know my limit. Remember these crates are aimed at whales too so..
For me while I would prefer all the items just sold individually or sold individually after the crate is done. I will say at least with these compared to like cs crates there is a price that guarantees all items. It's not perfect but it could be a lot worse. I do like the change to 3 items instead of 5 to max everything though.

one thing you missed out is that the lightforge relic can be carry over, so by 9:02 you can actually spend your lightforge relic obtain from "Freezing Mist" on the "Beach Holiday" to get more "Lightforge Ingot". and keep in mind that your lightforge relic/lightforge ingot can be carry over to the next lootbox event

I think the problem is $100 bucks a pop. For a mid cosmetics. I do hope they change the system... $20-40 tho 40 is still absurd is the sweet spot for premium cosmetics in a free game. Remove the gacha gambling(predatory) and just put a fixed price.
This is probably the worst loot crate system i've ever seen so far and the battle pass is the same. The prices for the legendary skins are also agregious, i think it's around 30 dollars. They really need to work on their shop and present some value. They'd sell way more cosmetics and it would improve the reputation of the game if the cosmetics had a reasonable price ; atm the shop side feels like a chinese scam shop, except even the chinese prices are usually better . 😂 For context i have a lot of friends that wanted to buy a few skins but were immediately put off by the prices and never opened the shop again.
@@Sporting1210 imo WoTpc did offer good value for your money, at least the first 2 years of xmas boxes (i stopped playing so idek anynore). Netease is definitely way too greedy with these prices and chances

Its like if Microsoft allowed you to gamble your hard earned money away and then people said "I understand they're doing it to keep the game running" as if its some struggling indie study eating breadcrumbs for lunch on the brink of collapse. Netease is one of the largest in the whole world. Its wrong, period.
How about add an option to 1 LFI (Lightforge Ingot) = 1k SC (Starchrome) up to 10 pulls only per different Treasure Chest collection then reset the count when that collection goes rerun? 🤔

I opend 60 of them and got everything's exspet for the 3 items i wanned (red eyes fire place, and the main outfit)
