My sister passed away this year at the age of 26 and twilight was our favorite series to watch together since it came out. The music always created such a calming nostalgia for us. I tried watching it alone after she passed and couldnt do it. That was 6 months ago. Her birthday is coming up soon and this playlist randomly popped up in my feed. I was able to listen to the whole thing and feel her presence. What a wonderfully put together video. Thank you for making it 🌧🌫☂️🩶

My sister passed away this year as well and Twilight was the biggest thing we bonded over. Coincidently enough, she also passed 6 months ago and her birthday just passed. I am truly so sorry for your loss. I understand what a huge void a sister leaves when they are a big part of their sibling’s life. Thank you to the person who made the playlist, it is truly a beautiful, healing piece put together.

I've had my issues with Twilight's storyline, but the films really did have amazing cinematography and music. Very beautiful. I still watch the first one simply for how unique it feels. Thank you for this, you've chosen the best pieces ❤

Listening to this playlist brings me so much memories. I was reminded of the first time I read Twilight at the age of 10 at the back of the car in a family trip and could stop even though it was getting dark. I had not watched the movie yet, so I created all the character's face in my imagination (I can't remember those faces no longer after watching the movies).
My grandmother (that was on the front seat that day) used to say that we shouldn't read it cause vampires are devil's stuff lol. Little did she know her daughter had read the entire series and lent it to all the female relatives in the family. Even my mom read it and went to the cinema with me and my friends from elementary school. This series made me a reader as well. This aunt passed away in march of this year and I am glad that I have such great memories of her. I don't blame my grandma "forbiding" us read these books cause I read them just behind her back and added a taste to it lol.
Ps. I was thinking these songs reminded me of another show and while listening to the basson it gave me Inuyasha Vibes.

it's my birthday today, weather outside is cloudy and rainy which is my favorite weather. it didn't rain here in weeks but this morning it did , it's like the sky is giving me a present.

Sometimes, I feel so overwhelmed in this super fast-paced, super modern world that I desperately want to return to 2008-11, and while that it is impossible, when I shut my door and my curtains, and put on this playlist and listen to my Twilight audiobooks while scrolling through an old Twilight Tumblr blog, I feel a little better, like I am that young teenager again, discovering Twilight and gushing over Bella and Edward, ignoring my English and Trig homework, and everything seems all right again.

Despite the hate wagon it received in its time, I think this series did have a charm of its own especially the first movie. The feeling is similar to when I watch Lord of the Rings, it always somehow manage to take me to another place that I sometimes forget this is from the world of a novel that was adapted into a visual movie. Which is why I do enjoy watching it ever so often when I'm not too busy dealing with real life.
I can't fully explain it but it wasn't the whole Team Edward or Team Jacob that brought me in to the series. It was more likely how otherworldly the environment of the mythical creatures are as told from Bella's perspective.
I don't hate it.
I do admit the cgi baby kinda creep me out but putting that aside, the Twilight Saga is a movie you can cherish for a long time.
It's odd but it is charming.
