  • Finally got to use the Countyline carry all for the tractor I built several videos back to gather some more firewood. I can tell its going to be a complete GAME CHANGER out on the farm. It is so useful to be able to drive the tractor in the woods and come back with a few trees worth of wood in one haul.
At some point in the future, I'd like to add a tool rack to the carry all, and also add some ways to carry my wedges, chains and straps.

Nice carry all but if you had put a vertical 2×4 on each side to space out the back of the carry all there would have been more room to clear the 3 pt. hitch or a quick hitch. Just an old man's opinion. But a very nice functional build. 👍 You could maybe also mount a 2 inch reciever in the back for a trailer ball to carry a splitter to the jobsite. I know that I'm about 2 years late with this but I just saw the videos.

Set of pallet forks for the front is far more useful. That log out in the field, cut in 3-4 pcs, pick up with the forks and haul back to where the firewood splitter is....saves handling out in the field. My wood box carry is pallet based. I pick it up with the forks, set it off near my work area if need be, freeing up the forks. Forks are 10x more useful than the bucket.

good feedback. I only recently acquired some forks - haven't even included in a video yet. will need to start using them for firewood. Thanks for watching!

That worked very well! You may want to shorten your top link so that the top of the carry all is tipped towards the tractor- that way you don't lose things going up hill.

I noticed that during the video edit. Will definitely be doing that. Thanks!

Putting a hitch on mine today, came off of my Wife’s RAV4. That way I can pull my log splitter and throw the splits in the carryall!

@@WoodsTreeFarm furnished it tonight, tomorrow I’ll use the splitter with it. Been thinking about this for awhile. I don’t have a quick attach so taking the carryall on and off was a pain.

@@WoodsTreeFarm I ended up buying a Pat’s quich hitch, looks like I’m going to have to do a modification like your cutouts! That way I can easily change from my carryall to my snow blade.

Glad to see the carry-all worked out well for you. Nice to build a piece of equipment and have it exceed your expectations.

Yes! A high level of satisfaction here. I'm going to be hauling a lot of dead wood over this winter. Looking forward to it!

The Carry-all is definitely working for you. I too love using a carry-all for wood and gear that I haul behind the tractor. Great video. Have a fine week and a great Thanksgiving.

Very nice 👍 great implement I may need to add one to our implement inventory. We have a bunch of wood to clear up this winter at our property this would be a back saver for sure. Thanks for sharing.

You need a pair of chaps. I see you have the helmet which is great but your legs are most at risk. Nice video, thank you.

You should definitely look at getting one. Its so useful! They're not terribly expensive either, and you could build the box with all that scrap blue lumber you got. Thanks for watching Jay!

AT 5:55 you cut off all the handles from the logs...lol...looks like fun, need to add a beverage cooler holder on the side of the carryall

    • @WoodsTreeFarm
      @WoodsTreeFarm  4 ปีที่แล้ว

LOL. Yeah. Since we're burning in the fire pit, I usually don't worry about that kind of stuff, but it stacked so much cleaner in the carry all without it. A cooler is a good idea. I could use a bigger tool box too to hold chains, wedges and other gear. An upgrade might be in the future. Thanks for watching

you should make a simple wood buck to cut logs up off the ground and get yourself a log peavey to roll logs
