I have the original Heat, I’m getting some of these effects through additional pedals and boxes but this is a very nice way to quickly experiment with sound. I would definitely recommend the Heat, I think I paid £650 several years ago, so the new price seems fair with the additional feature set and the passing of time.
What's the use case here? Who would stack up so many effects on a master chain? Is the idea that you use this in the studio for individual tracks and if so, will it support different effect chains per Overbridge output (assuming there are even more than one)? And if you're meant to use it in the studio, why not just use the DAW?
“New product” Elektron Just been rehashing their products for the last 4 year. -A4 MK2 re-hash’d A4 -Rytm MK2 rehash’d Rytm -Model:Samples dumbed down Digitakt -Model:Cycles dumbed down Digitone -Syntakt dumbed down Rytm with added digital engine close to Model:Cycles -Heat +FX… whatever. These guys lost their way.
They really did. The Heat FX looks nice, but in general this is pretty underwhelming. Was expecting something completely new from Elektron and not just a Heat with the Digi effects added in.
@@SH_Hof I definitely didn’t expect something new from them. Sadly. I agree that it looks nice. I think it’s safe to say that it’s factually a nice product but it’s certainly not exciting and I don’t think anyone ever once asked for this, and they aren’t necessarily a company known for their effects. I know it would be more expensive in the end but I’d rather buy the effects I use individually from companies who excel in this area. Clearly it’s not the device for me. For those who are excited for this… I’m stoked for them, I wish I shared that excitement.
Love that Digitakt with the custom knobs and Make Noise sticker on it ❤ Elektron not being too precious about their stuff, that‘s good.

Looks and sounds awesome

could just whack default daw effects on the end of your gear and you save 800 quid
Your comment is valid for every music making device. But you don’t seem to get the point in using hardware.
No offence to Elektron or Andertons but that just sounds like expensive noise to me.
