  • I take a look at the ASUS Zenbook Duo and see how the second screen comes in to its own when using a DAW controller

The minute I saw the Zenbook Duo was using the 2nd display as a mixer window in FL studio!

you should have tested the plugin controls with the touch pad because thats genuinely the most benefitial thing there. the mouse doesnt accelerate as your finger in terms of swing, which you need for almost any music so with the mouse everything takes 100 times longer and is an absolute burden

After making this video I moved to one of the larger Asus "Pro" Duo models which offer significantly more space and are a better all-round (but more expensive) option for use with FL Studio. (see video about this elsewhere on this channel)

Can you please tell me how to get the mixer on the bottom screen? Is there a setting I need to change? I can't seem to drag it down there like I drag other windows on my desktop

You have to use the mixer's own menu (top left) and select "detach" (this works for all windows in including plugins in FLS - I use it all the time. Once you drag it into the lower window you can use the top right menu to automatically maximise it.

@@ianwalker2258 Thank you for the quick reply. I'll try this later. This was the only reason I bought the laptop and I was starting to get frustrated 😆
Edit: just tried it and it works! Thank you very much.
