      I agree but the other clubs have done something about it to be fair. United sacked Van Gaal, hired Mourinho and he's made great signings. City have Pep now, Conte has been appointed at Chelsea so I just don't see Arsenal finishing above all 3, maybe Chelsea but i don't think he'll win the league against Mourinho and Pep.

      +Sharmarke Very true, in my opinion, with how the other big teams are progressing, even teams like west ham and tottenham making incredible progress, I'm very sad to say that if we don't act soon we can very possibly start finishing outside of the top 4

    I'm not an Arsenal fan but I've seen Arsenal go from a powerhouse of a team to basically nothing among the top 4 teams. I respect Arsenal and everything they have done but for them to advance and try to challenge for the title, Wenger has to go and spend money to get world class players because Arsenal can still attract big players for example Ozil and Sanchez

    I can't wait for this season to be over, because when we're fighting for fourth with Spurs while Chelsea, Man Utd, Man City finish miles above us, it's gonna be all the AKB's who'll be complaining the most about our lack of success, when they themselves were chanting "one Arsene Wenger" at the end of last season. This whole situation on Arsenal and our lack of ambition is really starting to piss me off.

Sure they don't win the League or the Champions League but they never really embarresed themselves. They are always at the top you should be lucky not to get a season where you end without european football at all like Chelsea and Liverpool did last season. And that comes from Man United fan

  • @VicRevino

    I'm a big United fan but I'm also frustrated with Arsenal, out of the other competitors for United, only Arsenal that I respect. I absolutely like Arsenal players from Bellerin, Ramsey to even one of United's former players, Welbz but I have to agree with a lot of Arsenal fans that Arsene Wenger and the whole management of Arsenal aren't doing well when it comes to signing players. Arsenal absolutely need a couple new players, like Mustafi and Lacazette. Signing Xhaka and that Japanese dude aren't enough.

    • @VicRevino
      @VicRevino 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      For me, the problem might be inconsistency and a lot of injuries. Same as United last season. With the new season coming soon, Arsenal really need another defender, even more so now with Mertesacker and Gabriel injured. Arsenal just can't rely on Koscielny all the time, the man is not a robot. Even if Mustafi is overpriced, just sign him because Arsenal desperately need a good central defender and a monster of a striker.

    • @Akkk247
      @Akkk247 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      +VicRevino Jonny evans? 😂

    • @The_Dead_Zone
      @The_Dead_Zone 8 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      VicRevino Completely agree again but this is Wenger's fault everyone knows how good we are in pre-season we literally took apart Pep's Man City and could of scored 5 against them but as usual we are two players short all the time if Arsenal buy Lacazette and Mustafi we can win the league losing Per isn't that much of a miss to be honest plus Gabriel is out 3-4 weeks so not as serious as reported .

    • @VicRevino
      @VicRevino 8 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hey, listen. I got all the love for Jonny boy just because he's a former United but let's face facts here, Evans isn't a good player for Arsenal, heck even when he played for United. I grew up watching Arsenal and United battling each other season after season for the league. I remember the fights, Vieira vs Keane, Keown vs Nistelrooy. I really want that to come back! Forget about Liverpool, forget about City, forget about Chelsea, bring back the old Arsenal, the fiery Arsenal and let's make this a healthy competition between two giant clubs

    So many people forget that Arsenal spent over 300 fucking million on a stadium. I honestly doubt any other manager in the world would have been able to consistently finish in the top four while having to rely on players like chamakh, squillaici and gervinho. What im saying is that you cant fucking blame Wenger for those first 8 years at the Emirates for not winning the league. But still there is no excuse for the past 4 years, just cant stand it when people say he hasnt won the league in 12 years because literally no one would have been able to with those players and that amount of cash to spend.

    I don't expect to win anything as an Arsenal fan anymore. Domestic cups mean fuck all to everyone. Every game we go into I expect to lose not because we're trash but because we're bottlers. We've had amazing teams over the years. Chamakh, Bendtner, Arshavin, Giroud aren't excellent but a combination of our own banter and other fans make it seem like they weren't good enough but no they definitely were especially considering we drop out of league races because we bottle matches against West Brom. Leicester made Vardy look like messi ffs. Truth is we go out without a game plan and Arsene expects our "quality" and his "beautiful" football to see us through every game

      +James we did it deserve since we won and drew the games necessary to get there, are you that dumb? You didn't know Xhaka since you don't watch football, he's one of the best midfielders in the league and has been the midfielder we've been looking for. Sky have said were close with Mustafi and so did the reliable David ornstein. I'm sure a striker will come soon, let's just hope it's a good one. I'm no disagreeing with you about second being shit as I think Leicester winning it when we've been waiting for 12 years is pathetic and Wenger should be sacked for it , but the people in the video are acting like we got relegated. There's no downfall from last season, we have a better squad now, just still not good enough to win the league

  • @abc-gv1py
    @abc-gv1py 8 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    As a Bournemouth fan, looking from the outside I really don't see what you are all complaining about. You just got your best premier league finish in 10 years and you have started to sign some absolutely world class players for pretty hefty transfer fees and this window isn't even over yet. You're all complaining about Wenger not spending this summer but you have already made one of the most expensive signings of the window and I know you want everything to be done and dusted before the season starts but that is not always possible and I can assure you Wenger has been trying. So yeah, looking from the outside, I can see no reason for all this divide in your fan base and negativity around the club which is not gonna help the team. How about being positive for once and try to encourage your team :)

    • @AJDaEnvoy
      @AJDaEnvoy 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      I see what you're point here but over the past 12 years, from what Arsenal was to where they are now, they have fallen from grace. You stated that we have started to sign some world class players which we have in Ozil, Alexis, Cech and arguably Xhaka but nevertheless there are positions which have criminally not be addressed. We have Liverpool at the weekend and have yet to sign players that we desperately need being a striker and a defender. If these signings were to be made by the end of the window, a lot of Arsenal fans will be chuffed but to leave it so late when our rivals such as City, United and Chelsea are addressing their issues just shows which clubs are more ambitious and tenacious. Does Arsenal's desire to win the league absolutely encapsulate the club? Or are they simply content to finish top four and always be 'there abouts?' I think you have to look at Arsene Wenger who in this case, will always be the person we point our fingers to and say, can he truly take Arsenal any further in today's footballing world?

      +LogicXx no im not. Look at the arsenal side. Their midfield is near perfect. A fit defense would suffice. Plenty of quality wingers. But giroud finishing. Ben yedder would be much better as he can get in behind as well as be a target in the box.

    We are not in decline, it's just that all of the teams around us are improving whereas our owners and managers are too stingy and aren't risk takers which leads us to making no signings so we just stay the same practically every season. If you're a proper football fan of any club tho, you won't start giving up on your team and be pessimistic like 'I'll be happy with finishing 4th' when our ambition should be much higher

  • @UyemaHD

    I don't understand why Arsenal don't spend big. They have one of the biggest fan bases, which means money. They see Bayern, Real, Barcelona, PSG, Juventus, Atletico, City, Chelsea and United spend big. The only way they can be relevant at this point is to just go all out in the transfer market, and they are slowly starting to fade away.

      That debt is paid. The thing is, Wenger is a complete king at Arsenal. The board is weak, to the point where Wenger was the job interviewer of his own "boss" Ivan Gazidis. Kroenke only remember Arsenal exists when checking his bank account, and Wenger thinks of the club's money as his own, therefore, doesn't take the necessary risks.

    • @UyemaHD
      @UyemaHD 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      Alex Ribeiro Arsenal only hold Wenger at this point for royalty. The board makes his lack of success permissible. They want him to be Arsenal's Ferguson. He wants to prove that he can win the Prem without the influence of money. But times have changed. To win nowadays you got to ball out. I can guarantee you that AC Milan will climb back and win a Seria A title before Arsenal win a Premier League again. Milan just sold their club, which will allow them to have a bigger budget heading to transfer windows.
      Its clear, that the sport is ran on money and illogical spending on astronomical players.

    What they're saying is right. Wenger has his limited budget, yet with that he is able to bring Arsenal to the top four every season, in comparison to clubs like United, City and Chelsea who drain their savings every window, yet still finish around the same position or even worse than Arsenal. It shows that Wenger and the squad are good, and they are on the right path, and most Arsenal fans can see that. All Arsenal need is the icing on the cake, a few additions to the team, yet the board or whoever influences the transfers denies Arsenal the opportunity to win titles. If Wenger can achieve what he is doing now with the limited budgets, imagine what he could do if he spent big like the other clubs.

    The whole point moving to the Emirates was to enable us to compete financially, the stadium is now paid. Time and time again I hear Wenger and Gazidis say Stan Kroenke will spend the money and is willing to invest so to me that makes Arsene Wenger accountable for the lack of transfer activity. We never hear any other manager discuss their clubs finances like Wenger does, which is something he never used to do when David Dein was at the club. We need someone to come in and tell Wenger to concentrate purely on football and leave the finances and business side of things to the board, if that happens I think Wenger can get back to the manager he was. I hate that it’s come to this with him and would love to see him get all the fans back on side and get rid of the divide that currently exists.

    it is the same every season for most teams, city and Chelsea spend big on everyone but not all work (sterling, torres and mangala spring to mind) United spend a lot but have a manager in place that won't get on with the whole squad, Liverpool buy as many players as they can and we make one or two signings of note and a few youngsters. I agree I would rather be seen as an outsider as I think we have a lot of pressure from our fans as well as the media and this stretches back to the post invincible seasons. I do think when wenger is gone we will miss him, what we need this season is unity on the terraces and on the pitch.

    I agree that Arsenal's transfer windows are diasspointing however regarding what Poet said about wanting to add 35 goals to Arsenal's frontline . Let's be real Man City only scored 71 goals last season only 5 more than Arsenal and Leicester won the league scoring 68 goals . The days when teams score over 100 goals in a season are over . The new season started today and half the matches ended in 1-1 draws. The point is the Premier league is becoming more defensive and Arsenal mainly need strength in defence because when Arsenal don't concede stupid goals they always manage to score even if it's one goal

    Hang on guys, you have so much more than any one else. Stability. It is not my cup of tea, but you do have it. You also have pretty solid spine too in Cech, Sanchez, Ozil and Giroud. Your back back line needs something, but ALL premier league teams have holes still, even Man and Man City, so the season is just as open as it was last season, where you guys came second. I reckon you guys can win the league this year, if you want it.

      2015-16 Arsenal weren't even that good really, the league was abysmal that season. They finished 2nd with 71 points (10 points behind Leicester), they actually got 4 more points the next season and finished 5th! They also won nothing that season losing in the FA Cup at home to Watford. There best season this decade is 2013-14. Most league points (79) and won the FA Cup.
