Resulting from this the pressure to be seen as super thin is a lot stronger, however in the west we tend to have a higher BMI and our view of weight has become increasingly more lax. People should feel free to wear what they want! High socks look great on so many body types and having thicker calves is totally fine, I have thicker calves and thighs and people think that’s they look cute with high socks. I say wear what you want! 💛
me too... i tried it a few times but people reacted negatively... and i am not talking about strangers.. i am talking about the ones i "trust" aka my mother
maybe try thicker socks? i have a pair that are really thin, especially at the top and they bite into my calves more :( also i feel like if they go up to just below your knee, there's more bone sticking out and your legs slim near your knees

Personally because I have thick legs I don’t really know if I can wear more intricate shoes like dress shoes etc, so I’m always stuck with the same sneakers all the time. In general I just want more pairs of shoes that can flatter my leg shape better, so I don’t walk outside of my house looking like a fool.

When I watched this video I went through my socks to see which socks I had. I realised I only had so many of only two different pairs of socks😓. Watching this helped me get my crazy sock addiction in order, and now I know how to style socks and shoes❤️❤️

I always wear shorter boots with my midi skirts
just a little tip i’ve noticed, not too thick combat boots (docs or anything similar) looks good with almost everything
