Hello Alberto, thank you my friend, you have a great week...Mal
Hello Mal, a nice trip to the Peak Rail & Ecclesbourne Valley Railway while in Derby. Very nice little steam locomotive and the visit to the cafe. A great exhibition of diesel locomotives and railway carriages. Thanks for sharing and have a nice weekend. Best wishes Wolfgang
Many thank's my friend, the smaller heritage lines are many a time the ones who need our support the most to survive, cheers...Mal
Thanks again for such beautiful insights in a line I probably never would have thought of. And a treat for a shunter friend like myself!
Thank's mate, yes i was surprised just how nice Peak Rail is and how they let you just wonder around the yard as much as you want
Very nice video my friend Mal.
Thank You and Thumbs Up.
Many Greetings
Andreas
Many thank's my friend Andreas, take care...Mal
Brilliant video. Lovely line. Lots of rare waggons and shunters there. Which are saved and hopefully safe. Shame we just don't have the volunteers and money to restore at least a third of them. As i always say one in service, one waiting one being overhauled. The Bagnall 0-4-0 makes light work of those 4 Mk1s. Not been for a while nice cafe. Great to meet you day before. By the way that turntable is from Mold Junction shed. Been to the Ecclesborne a few times also. Fantastic line, great bacon butty's. I take it the Wirksworth to Ravenstor branch was not open that day ?
Cheers axl, yes was nice meeting up at GCR the day before, was impressed with Peak Rail and loved seeing all the stock awaiting restoration, i love to see all the rusty stuff so Peak Rail was nearly as good as Tanfield Railway for that but not quite lol
Speaking on behalf of peak rail most of the locos/rolling stock is private owned and we allow company’s to keep items at peak rail.
