Island Journals - Visiting Manila after 1 year of living in Palawan

A year after moving to El Nido, I spent a few days in Manila to visit family for my stepdads 75th birthday. I was able to squeeze in a bit of time to see a few friends and basically eat my way through the city. I had not really planned on going back for a while but this trip was an important one.

Normally my perfectionism would force me to go back and do the entire thing again - but I’m trying to allow the mistakes to happen and learn from them in the process.
