The lady presenter to the great job!. She has a very natural way of presenting the material. I love how she seamlessly converses with the people she is interviewing people and also the viewer.
I recently came across a news article about the Wampanoags prescence/influence on the Bible and so I decided to come check out TH-cam to find out more about the history and lifestyle of the Wampanoag people.

I love how the tradition of the culture is passed down through the children whether it is through games or crafting. We need to bring back Hands-On crafting with our children.
Things that we put our Hands-On we tend to remember more. And it creates a sense of Pride to have something tangible that you have created with your own hands.

Hello... my name is Linda Neff Beacher, I have just found out that I am part Wampanoag. If I could tell you how this made me feel... somehow I always knew I had Native American blood in me. My behaviors as a small child and even now as a 73 yr. young Elder... I am more than proud and want to know more ... what are some books that would be beneficial for me to read to learn more. Please know, I am not trying to be this modern person who wants to belong... or what ever... I am into growing my food, working the land... the words I just heard from the video... we belong to the earth the earth does not belong to us... I have stated that to my children... although only one of my children, my son is like me... we both work the land and grow our food. There is so much more I get carried away... no one to talk to about this ... I am over the moon with joy...

Nanaandbump: In 2017: I also found out I have a huge chunk of Native American blood in me. I have 75% Native American blood in me. I found this out by doing an ancestral dna test. Since that year, I have been doing my best to connect with my Native American roots. So I am subscribing to all the Native American clips, Native American documentaries and Native American films.

Cool stuff! The host did a fantastic job too, especially getting some of those native words out! A few of them felt like tongue twisters to me, but she handled them smoothly. Thanks for sharing!

Very interesting how they choose a African woman to ask questions to a tribe of natives that was mostly her color before Columbus.

😂😂😂😂 Um what? What do you mean the world hasn’t been around that long? The earth has been around for 13.5 billion years. The place they are filming in had it’s first inhabitants (native Americans) anywhere from 12-15000 years ago. I’m sorry to sound rude but you need to wake up

I have a question are these AFRICAN American 'looking people' indigenous native people 🙄 or are they Married into tribes OVER some years that allows them to be THIS tribe.

    • @DisposableEgo

It's real American History. There are many Indigenous Nations with intercontinental family DNA. If you are truly seeking knowledge about the humanity of these relationships start with Crispus Attucks. You can also research my 5x Great Grandfather Paul Cuffe.
Family is family. Many tribes are learning to dismiss "Blood Quantum" which is a tool to reduce the Indigenous population.
Currently the greatest Indigenous Traditional Dancer is an Apache and Black man. We don't place colonial values on our loved ones.

@@DisposableEgo You moniker says it all 🤷🏽‍♀️ listen I asked a simple question are your people indigenous native American Indian bloodline roots here in America or are you mixed with the enslaved West AFRICANS that were trafficked FROM West Africa during the trans Atlantic Slave Trade -to the colonies to build America?

@@DisposableEgo to give context to response FYI I'm a Descendant of 2 enslaved African American FROM virginia and Maryland my 2x paternal grandfather lived and was enslaved in NATIVE American Indian territories yet he had no NATIVE dna.... My 2x maternal grandmother is direct Descendant of the conquistadors of Maryland-Virginia.

They are modern American people who are also descendants of the Wampanoag people who were here when the first ships came to Plymouth. Maybe since it's 2021, they also have African ancestors. This doesn't make them less Wampanoag if they are multiracial people.

    • @beberodriguez2358

@@briannainamagua6238 SO you say they are NOT indigenous native American Indian bloodline wholly clearly they are mixed.

The real Wampanoag people have been replaced by blacks and white Americans people, not fear, they should shelter real indigenous peoples there.
