I'm intrigued for the really fancy concept because I'm picturing a burlesque musical kind of concept. But onew's acapella concept would be my dream goals. They don't showcase this enough to me. Hehe.
right haha i thought key looked impressed by the cake and i actually surprised by that but then he's pointing the tray and i was like "ok nevermind" hahahaha
but to be fair, the cake looked underwhelming. Not even worth a photo. Even I have done more impressive cakes than that. Heck even in SM's own SUM cafe, there are more impressive pastries to choose from. So SHINee didn't even bother to look impressed. Some idols have had more impressive cakes for their birthdayd, even. SHINee's anniversary deserves a better cake.
The fact that Jonghyun is still mentioned and included, and even Taemin remembering his signature warms my stone cold heart in ways I didn't even know possible.
Them arguing in an important live stream just about taemin's memory reminds me about them arguing on national tv about the dont call me win. They never change lol:)

The company may stink at promoting their groups, but you can't deny that their artists are happy and love each other. This means the company can't be as bad as everyone says or they would leave like GOT 7 did or disband.

@@NoctLightCloud Not sure how much you know but Jonghyun himself had stated that he had depression (particularly season depression I think) way back in high school (aka before he debuted in SHINee). Whether or not SM added or contributed to his depression, I cannot say since I didn't know him personally but I see no reason to believe that he wasn't happy working at SM at times. Like yes it was probably stressful for him at times but I'm sure it was also very joyous at times too (like when he did concerts or interacted with fans). In many interviews and concerts, Jonghyun talked about how the support of fans, making music, and the shinee members brought him joy and happiness. Just because he had depression does not mean he was unhappy for all of his years as an idol. As someone with depression, you do not feel sad all of the time. You can be happy or have happy moments. It's just that the lows can overshadow the highs. Now I don't know jonghyun personally (or any other idols for that matter) but if he says that he felt happy while he was an idol, I'm going to believe him. (I am not saying that SM treats their idols well or that they don't have things they need to improve because they totally do. I'm just saying that SM idols can be happy/have moments of joy when working there)

@@NoctLightCloud While I do agree that it would have been better for Jonghyun to get a different therapist, I don't think SM should have any input in that. While it's all good for a company to offer support and services, they absolutely should not be allowed to step in on their employees' health issues. Employers should not have access to their employees' medical records. They can offer advice but they should not be able to step in. That creates a super unhealthy power dynamic and if a precedent like that is put in place. If a company like SM can just step in between an idol and their doctor and make decisions for the idol, then that means that they can force idols to undergo treatments that they don't want/need. Additionally, for SM to know that that certain therapist wasn't helping jonghyun, they would need to be able to see inside his sessions. This would violate his privacy and also not allow him to talk about his issues with SM (if there was anything of the sort that he would want to talk to a therapist about) since most ppl wouldn't feel comfortable complaining about their employer where their employer can see it. So imo, SM should take mental health into account more and offer services but they should not be able go step in for an artist (unless that artist asks for them to step in).
I'm so amaze and adore their friendship and brotherhood.. they take care of each other and as if Jonghyun never passed.. I see Jonghyun in each one of them..
