Hello from toronto! Love the vids. I am very curious, how did you learn software pc-3000 and in general how did you get your understanding of how a computer interfaces with the nand controller and how the controller does with the nand? It's become one of my fav parts of the vids but you fly through it like a pro :)
User manual, support, acelab forum, time, and practice. At first, PC3000 did look a little overwhelming as there are a lot of functions and options. I am sure that training that they offer can be extremely helpful.
Mapping depends on the device. This is a Sandisk unit with a known pinout. We are editing clips where custom pinout discovery has to be made. It will come

Very happy about that. Thanks for sharing this and espetially for PC300 because i have same tools (excluded spider board). Like as always
Question for you, instead of using the erector set to make contacts, why not use a header soldered to the pcb and then have the erector set connect to that? it would be easier and faster to connect. not to mention putting the points in the middle of the header connections gives it two points of contact not one.
Sir i ve a .zip file that became corrupted due to a bug of shareit application .so my question is how can i recover that data. Whenever i try to extract it all the files are deleted and instead there are folders with same name I m ready to pay if u help me resolve this
Hi sir, am very intrested in learning data recovery skills am from Tanzania. I got a simple universal reader for nand chips. I wanted to ask is there any possibility to decode files from a flash rom nand ic used in music keyboard. I got the Bin file but am stuck on decoding it, is there any way since this doesnt have a controller like normal storage devices
Fascinating! I find it funny they were shooting 23-30 MB pictures on an unknown low quality card. 4 years ago, I spent extra on a UHS-II card, it's still going strong and was well worth it. (How much does something like that cost btw??)
Hello. I have a question. How can you program the controller if it is not recognized by the pc? I have a usb stick that do not work with usb 2.0 port only usb 3.0 . I try to use it to an old pc and it corrupted the controller. Now it is not recognized even if i use it to usb 3.0 port. Is there anything i can do? Thank you.
I have a 2.5 hdd that spins but the actuator arm moves over the platters and then resets itself back onto it's cradle. It does this over and over again. The drive isn't detected by my computer. Any idea what the problem could be?
Original problem was dead heads, but now since you opened it it may have escalated into something more severe. It's super easy to contaminate a hard drive and create a bunch of irreversible damage

Interesting! I use Flash Extractor for flash recovery, but it's interesting to see PC-3000 in use. It does look a lot more polished than FE. The spider board looks cool too, I imagine it's useful for pinout discovery too. Does PC-3000 provide any tools to automatically determine the pinout using it? Or do you do pinout discovery the old-fashioned way with a Logic Analyser channel connected to every trace on the monolith?
Truth be told I thought that pinout discovery was out of this world difficult thing. But it's not that hard. In 2021 we will launch something that will make it super easy.

Hi bro I have a sd card that's not detected in camera and system indeed data from it it's a 32gb card indeed to know the recovery charges and time you need to recover pls reply soon .
Not just the no name card, the .nef file hints that the guy uses nikon. So he uses garbage camera to shoot and stored the photos in a garbage card. Change the camera to canon..
That people save things to SD cards so important, requiring a likely costly overhaul like this is amazing. Wait, I take this back. It's not much different from all that goes lost on any means of storage. It's like this with everything in life. We often do nothing until the pain of not changing is greater than doing stupid things repeatedly.
I think most of the recovery people are having, are people who shoot pictures. In this case, it was a guy who used a Nikon camera, with a bad memory card :D
