Check the pcm ground at the T-stat housing! Remove & clean very well if needed...Luv these old trucks. My 98 Sierra works/runs/shifts perfect.(256k miles) Maintenance & NO abuse is the key to longevity
You should go ahead and change out that master cylinder to the NBS style. I have a video with the part numbers and then you need. It’s really not that expensive and it makes your breaking power so much better.
I have never had brake issues with the original master cylinder. Brakes are nice and firm. If in the future I may do it. It's not a expensive conversion.
Also, dump a can of Liquimoly oil system cleaner, run engine for 30 minutes (idling) & perform lof svc.
Progress !!!!!! Them falkens are kinda pricy ..
They can be pricy. These are six years old and still have 3/4 of the tread left. Cheaper in the long run.
