For those who will see the video, what I would suggest in term of UX is adding a loader icon ... For some of your research, it's confusing to see nothing change quickly once you write into your input.
Thank you so much for this - very clear and concise! I was able to get the desired result of having an individual filter above each column using this technique!
Thanks for sharing many good tips, John. Is there a way to search with case insensitive btw? It appears that the keywords must match the case by default and I'd like to know if we can overcome that.
This is a great video. I'm starting to look at all your content now!! Is it possible to filter a repeating group using a list created from a custom state?
Love the tutorials! Thank you for the content. I can’t seem to find anywhere how to create a repeating list that has a category followed by all the items to that category and as you scroll the next category comes up with it’s items?
great video . Could you please help me with this problem : i have products with field a 'size' (containing a list of sizes available for that product) . i want to set the data source such that if the any product's Size field has any option available that's applied in the filter selected sizes,it should be displayed.
Brilliant work, very clear! May I ask if I want to add a filtering, by only showing the result of a search box, how can I do it? I don’t see the constrain option when the source of the repeating group is set to an API.
Hi, great video. I would like to know if it would be possible to make a filter, for example, like excel where we selected in the filter itself with checkbox several names or several dates. Is there any plugin or create something like this? Thanks
Checkbox functionality for filtering is possible yes. We use states to accomplish this. This will help you get started th-cam.com/video/5etSE1po7J0/w-d-xo.html&t
i am very grateful for your lecture! may i ask a question? is it possible from "any fieild contains ●●●" → to "any field contains keyword(s)●●●" thank you very much!
This is not possible as what we are doing is looking for a word across multiple fields of a type i.e. name, location, title. 'Contains keywords' would be for searching for keywords in a single field i.e. just name field.
Thanks for sharing knowledge. If you could give me a clue, I wil really apreciate it. I am now strugle in how filter "Data type" as in your example: How to filter by "Team"?
Hooh... The concept is nice. I hope you understand my pain, but I'm trying to figure out a optimised solution to combine search variables as list AND possibly carry it to the URL... As you can imagine, I might have to suck it and count on URL key solution with new page load?
This guy transmits serenity and mastery! I like this!

"any field contains..." is exactly what I needed.
thanks for sharing!
great tutorials man! you are the Bob Ross of Bubble
Excellent tutorial! Clear and easy to follow along. However, I do have a question. How did you set the field header in the repeater group?
That's really helpful, thanks for sharing.
5:06 when you change from the equal sign to "contains keyword(s)", why do you not choose the "contains" option?
You Are the best, thank you ❤
Excellent video!
Muito Bom! Gosto muito dos seus tutoriais.
thanks a lot, really helpful
Thanks so much for your teaching :-)

I think the function "contains" is case sensitive but I just tried with "contains keyword(s)" and it's now case insensitive
How on earth did you get those headers in there. Tried everything and now just put text above which always have issues on mobile
I’d love to see that as well!
@@parrisgjerde9212 He talks about it in his other videos: th-cam.com/video/446dpIMhMao/w-d-xo.html&ab_channel=Buildcamp
What input did you set in the repeating group? How did you built this repeating group?
I don't see "input search name" 2:08

There is a way to refresh (reset) a RG without loading the page ?

Can you please make a tutorial on how to make your app available in multiple languages? keep up the good work!
Yes sure I'll add it to my list.

how to autogenerate unique data into repeating group and save it in database? please help
but in the end to search from every text field, we have to write the text complete again
Thank you it's a great video ! But, I still have to type the full name or last name. What if I want to type only "Al" to found "Alice" ?
That called Fuzzy search - th-cam.com/video/yiMqvbeYvT0/w-d-xo.html
I thought that the client side occours just when use the advanced filters not the normal filters.
how can we make search faster. For me it takes atleast 1 second to show results and i have only 30 entries in Database
th-cam.com/video/yiMqvbeYvT0/w-d-xo.html
Why have you used input element for search instead of Search box element?
As the result of the search is a filtered Repeating Group. The search element displays a single result beneath the search element.
does anyone know hop i can do this but from a text element?

How can you filter from a list? For example, I have list of different instruments a musician can play, but I have it as a list of things.
Yes. But you need to select a field in your instrument datatype. Perhaps the name field.

What if I want to have multiple constrains bound by an OR logic?
