For the pink planter, if you haven't already found something for it, you should make little rolls of scrap felt and stand them in there. It would look like ice cream rolls 😍
The milkshakes are so cute! Shared tip; have you tried turning the straw using a fat milkshake straw? Not sure if it would work with thick felt, but does work for thinner fabric for long thin pieces. Put a straw inside the sewn piece until it reaches the end (right sides together). Then use a thin chopstick to push fabric inside and through the other direction. Have seen this done using empty ink pen casings in lieu of fat straw. Maybe an empty felt pen casing would be fat enough for felt. (It is after all, "felt"). Secondly, is an idea for the prototypes not used...I thought some of them looked like mermaid tails. I don't think you need to reign in your ideas...let them flow! You never know what will come of them. Practice, if nothing else, for when you teach the tutorial. Am proud of all the hard work you did here. I too bought one spool of Coats and Clark thread from Walmart this weekend. (pale pink!) What are the odds?
