Culasi is a small municipality in Antique with around 40,000 total population. Located at the northern part of Antique, the municipality is around 90 kilometers away from the famous town of Kalibo. This place became a tourist destination in 2014 because of its so-called ‘hidden gem island’ named Mararison.
Discovered as a Batanes-like island, Mararison became a source of income amongsts the locals by having them as tour guides, renting for boat rides and the stay-in motels.

I have been in this place several times when i was still serving in the army way back 2007.Indeed a wonderful place and friendly people out there.It was actually my first assignment as private at camancijan detachment.

Ang Lapit lapit lng nito sa amin sa Capiz, hindi ko pa mapuntahan. Sobrang ganda din tlaga sa Antique. magagandang scenery, masasarap na pag kain at simple lng ang mga tao. Next time mka kadto gd ako da sa antique.

Last July 15-16, 2018 I was here and Kuya Rey and Aling Sisilia are the best and first home stay in Mararison. Grabeee! Sobrang sarap ng luto ni Aling Sisilia the best ang Pugita kahit adobo at ang maya-maya... Very accommodating sila halos lahat sila despite of the weather condition inaalagaan ka talaga ng mga locals kahit ang ex capitan ng Mararison. 😊🙂 it's a must visit island..
