@WhiteTiger950 Yes, I´ve seen it twice in Vienna last year ... in my imagination Alfred is in his early twenties or maybe also 18-19. But even if he´s in his twenties, this voice doesn´t fit the stereotype in my head, if you know what I mean
@Sabsemade Have you seen the whole musical? If you have I think you'd agree that Alfred is definately NOT a boy. As I stated in my other comment I think Alfred is supposed to be a young man, maybe in his twenties.

I'm not sure exactly how this works, but... I thought he wrote the English lyrics first to "Never Been a Night Like This", and then Michael Kunze stepped on board to translate to "Nie gesehen" in German. This English lyric may or may not have been written inbetween Vienna and New York, but I'm not exactly sure... I mean, this lyric may have been subject to plenty of rewrites before it sounded like this, but who knows?
