Why do you pop dark surge before killing the map boss? I've read somewhere that if you pop dark surge before, the dark surge boss wont spawn and you lose the change of getting Edict
God of Might didn't work because you couldn't run with gigantism for 30% more quant. its easily the most consistent profit mechanic from all that I've tried this league in deep space honestly.

They can appear together. Happens a lot. Boss seems to spawn in wave 1-3 and 10-13.
If you kill a boss that spawns with cube or some other mechanic it still counts towards dark surge boss
