Chaz says to the whole pub "none of us are strangers to a prison cell', no one says a word as they know she is right. Emmerdale is really The Midsommer of soaps
This is what you signed up for Aaron so why get upset over Robert's scheming. You know that this is a big part of his character. I love you Aaron but trying to control who Robert talks to only makes you look weak.
The writers are setting up Robert. Now that the Andy business is getting all cleared up, there is no reason for him to be dealing with Rebecca. But will he stay away from her, as Aaron asked? Or is the draw of Home Farm too much to resist, not to mention his admitted attraction to Rebecca? Ooh ... this is getting interesting, I think.
What attraction? Robert would say pretty much anything to keep Rebecca his ally. Planting a kiss on her was thoughtless, when Becca finally realises she's been played it could turn ugly.
+Biljana Ć. You see what you want to see, I suppose, and I see it. Plus the backstory hints at a passionate past relationship. If it was really that passionate from the way they talk about it ... those things don't really fully die. Exhibit A: robron.
Significant difference is Rebecca is chasing after Robert not the other way around. Aaron clearly knows they are working together, that kiss though will definitely complicate things. Aaron will keep his fiancé on thin ice so Rob will have to do some grovelling. This is by no means beginning of the end for Robron.
Hearing Andy's name all the time, sigh I miss Andy, been watching this soap over 20 years now and he was always there so it is hard to adjust with Mr Emmerdale not being there (that is the cast's nick name for him). The longer he is away I guess is a good sign his career is doing well so goodluck Kelvin and in the nicest way meant stay away.
Liv you are going to be in trouble. Pierce is someone you don't cross, he's got that pyscho vibe going on underneath. Now you have become enemy number one to him, watch your back!
Ronnie if I were you I'd stay out of it, that family are mad, bad and dangerous to know. Lets hope there are no more Whites to come out of the wood work although I like Rebecca, she has got fire, She has managed to nearly clear Andy while both Dianne's and Robert's attempts were one the lamest things I'd seen on soap!
Sigh he is not coming back anytime soon. Kelvin is doing well outside of Emmerdale and if he did he would be going to prison most likely for running away from court, regardless of being innocent of the crime he was in court for Chrissie (and Rakesh ) screwed him over all right.
Telling the truth in Emmerdale is always telling a half truth. Chrissie and Lawrence have not been implicated and as for Andy, well Mr Emmerdale will be arrested anyway if he returned as he absconded- one crime does not negate the other in the eyes of the law. Mr Emmerdale is still in trouble anyway!
Emmerdale is going on every week day but they have other characters, not just Robron and their story lines are just as important to Emmerdale fans (which is missed on this channel). Lochlan's hearing is tomorrow, Bex is feeling guilty now her nephew maybe going down and has vowed to do all she can to get him out, Lawrence has chucked Bex out- again. Liv has become enemy number one to Pierce, Moira and Emma have become best mates, Moira feels guilty what happened with her and James while Emma has different motives, to drive a wedge between her and Cain. Belle is back from the psychiatric hospital and Zack is planning to (relunctantly) move away with Joannie as she found out him and Lisa kissed. Adam and Vic have agreed to try for a baby (and in real life Adam is in the Australian jungle so we will lose him off the screen for a few weeks so better get a storyline in quick for him), Tracy and Vanessa learnt that their dad was not mugged but beaten up because he was being blackmailed and that he lied what he went to prison for etc etc even Marlon has a story line.....it is not all about Robron!

My favourite moment was when Chaz says in the pub we all have served time in prison, the white elephant would have been Robert if he was there. Lochlan may go to prison before Robert, after all Robert has done! This is getting hilariously bad writing. He should be in prison for the manslaughter of Katie among other crimes. #justice for Katie. At least Emmerdale are keeping Paddy and Robert apart, that would be too much to stomach for me him acting like the sun shines out of Robert's backside the way Chaz is doing now.
Robert really needs to pay sometime in teh future. I think he is that type of character that deserves it SO much, that they will wait years to make the pay off as big as possible. Probably when the actor leaves or something.
Well, let's face it we are not going to get our Andy back any time soon, so time to move on from this story line. Wishing Kelvin 'our Andy' the best in all he does in the future. Only a few make it when they have been in a top soap for such a long time and Andy is more associated with Emmerdale than most- he grew up on our screens and become the main Sugden which used to be the main family on Emmerdale- now the Dingles seem to be. Most actors who leave a top soap usually show up in other soaps and another soap and then return, Kelvin seems to be an exception like the third actor who played Robert- he has done well outside Emmerdale. There are enough Dingles now in that village to start a small army, and the Whites seem to be coming out the wood work. Bring back some more quality Sugdens I say, or relations of Andy Vic and Robert...Robert's still got a sister out there somewhere, Andy a little brother who was a Sugden in all but name because he called Jack and Di his mom and dad but refused to be adopted.....this soap is now so far removed from its roots!
The Whites talk about throw Lochlan to the Wolves. Instead of owning up to your part Chrissie and Lawrence which may help his cause all you do is say to Lochlan he may have to do time- what type of family is this? You don't act like people who love each other sometimes. Jack was prepared to go to prison instead of Andy, Andy in the end confessed to the arson that killed his mother for Victoria's sake, Aaron went to prison for Adam- those people love each other and were prepared to make the ultimate sacrifice.
this detective sucks too , just like the ones that were working on rob's case . the only good detective i've seen on the show so far was on gordon's case , but if it could only be one , i'm happy that one good exception was on that case .
oh I am not a fan of Robron, it does not make sense them being together to me, the wedding will happen (will just have to grin and bare it) but when is it, will Adam be there? Just that this soap is filmed in advanced and Adam in real life is in the jungle so hope they filmed it before or waiting till he comes out the jungle to film it. The only thing I will look forward to is Adam as best man!
So the Andy crusade for Robert may soon be over. Great, it was rubbish in the first place- yeah tampering with a high wire how was that ever going to help Andy? Robron fans wanted a wedding well in Emmerdale weddings are mostly disasters ( look at Debbie and Pete or Chrissie and Robert) so Robert and Bex will have done something that will be exposed around that time.

Who knows, just know that most Emmerdale weddings are disasters, Tracey and David were the last to get married and that was a comedy sketch- it was worth it though just to see Jacob in a suit (that kid is growing in to a heart breaker). The wedding before that Ashleu and Laurel Ashley's dimension kicked in straight after the 'I dos'- all the weddings are disasters
Hard to be interested in this story when you have no empathy for the characters and the plot is so contrived. Oh look a gun... oh look a cheat... oh look a misheard conversation... and now..... a confession. ffs

yeah it's stock standard soapy plot development. after the past 12 months you'd think they'd be able to come up with something more inventive/ realistic. they certainly have the actors to deliver more powerful plot lines

Robert helped save Aaron from his monster of a father and Chas will always be grateful for that no matter what else Robert's done. But I agree.
