Well done, don't be disappointed, I'd be really pleased with that. He's just a green boy! Next few time's it will click. Highly recommend hiring a Cross country course and school round with a friend, then take him solo a few times. You did really well 😊
What a little monkey, he really made you work. He gave plenty notice which is nicer than a dirty stop I guess but well done ushering him on and even taking some from a few strides out. It may not have felt great but it will have definitely given him lots to think about and I hope next time goes a lot smoother like the second half of the round did! Maybe try a pairs class if that's something you can do.... What did you think of the cooling bandages?
Yeah I’ll defo consider a pairs round for the future! I’ve since taken him on a farm ride which he absolutely bossed which is exciting! I really like them, his legs were so much cooler travelling home in those compared to travel boots… naturally. Defo be using them again! Xx
I'm doing the naughty thing of commenting before watching the whole video. Arriving much later than planned because of traffic would have made your head stressed. Then to have to do the course walk at a bit of a jog, wouldn't have been fun. You definitely had my sympathy. The other comments assure me that it did end up being a somewhat successful day.
You did really well, personally I think that whilst you are holding his hand you also have to be more firm as he responded when you were telling him to get on with the job, but lots to work on and keep belief 🎉x
Well done Sam! Omg I totally know how it feels when you have to be the firm one but you're 💩 ing your pants about it, once you do it a few times the confidence will come from you more and he will follow you!!! Amazing keep it up you did really well and give yourself more credit 🎉
Thank you! Safe to say I was nervous which probably fed into him too but we got round and you’ve got to start somewhere! 🙌🏽 I took him on a farm ride last week and he was just fabulous 💕
That first jump did seem a bit "advanced" for a baby green course. Well done. Maybe at first he was feeling your worry? It seemed as your confidence and determination grew, so did his. Just a thought. Next time will be better. Maybe more big vocal encouragement long before the jump?! Good job sticking through it!!
%100 my nerves played a part, but we’ve been on a fun ride since and he was unbelievable. Filled me with a lot more confidence for the future 😍🙌🏽 Thank you xx
That was fab, especially for a first run. I was willing him over the fences with you 😂 well done 🙌🏻 Really enjoyed watching x
Thank you thank you!!! Xx
Wow, how cool and you did so well the first time. And what a great horse you have. Greetings from the Netherlands
Thank you! I think he’s the best but I am obviously bias 🤭 Ahhhh thanks for watching from all the way over there 👋🏽

That’s the plan fingers crossed 🤞🏽 A pairs hunter trial would be soooo good for him! Plenty more practice planned over the summer too 🙌🏽🌞 Thank you x
You both done amazing! Well done, you’re the perfect team x
Thank you 💕

Hahaha, we had a great ride around the second half of the course (probably because we were running towards home lol) 🙌🏽
