Mam I think you told one thing wrong...[Co(NH3)5(ONO)Cl2] is red when nitrite-O means ONO and Yellow when nitrite ligand is nitrite-N(NO2)...I think you got confused and told opposite in lecture 😅

Yes water of crystallization only exist when there is both cation and anion which is not in the 3rd case so we must not consider it as hydrate isomer.
